MeMes Place

I will stay here every time I go to Belize. This was my first trip and they made it very awesome. Beautiful amenities. Literally 30-40 yards to the ocean. One food spot we frequent was literally right outside the hotel/villa. Everything was in walking distance or you could use golf cart. No real need for car only if you leave to the airport. We drove the car only twice.

Everything from the moment we arrived until the day we left was amazing! Owner & staff were very nice & helpful with everything we needed. A new section of this condo is under development & can’t wait to see it completed. Everything was in walking distance, and I felt safe with my early morning walks by myself (being a female). Several great bars & restaurants in walking distance too. No need for a car unless you were traveling up north or to the mainland. We were able to go fishing off the shore & got many ourselves for dinner. Many local fresh fruit & veggie stands nearby too. Everything from coffee shops to the local artists, as well as the local fishermen that brought in their daily catches for anyone to buy. I would definitely stay here again!! Fantastic unit - extremely clean and comfortable. Near all the best restaurants/bars and only a few steps to the dive shop. Our host stayed in contact with us, checking on our satisfaction and asking what other assistance they might provide. We were allowed to check-in four (yes, 4!) hours early. We appreciated the digital entry and comprehensive security system. To top everything off, they have a wonderful terraced space on the roof - perfect for watching the sunrise or winding the day down with a beer. My next trip to Placencia will absolutely include staying at MeMe’s Place.
