Hotel Bor

Nice charming hotel in a quiet spot, but only a short walk from the slopes. Certainly great value. The included breakfast and dinner buffets were both pretty decent, better than most that I have experienced in the past. Friendly staff.

Great value for money. Breakfast/dinner had wide choices and dinner varied every day. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Rooms r basic About 15 mins walk to the centre which is a long way when it’s -4 All taxis £10 wherever u go Breakfast was average but the dinner was good

Hotel is basic but adequate, breakfast is pretty good however the evening meal was disappointing hence only dined in on the first night. There is table tennis, pool, air hockey table and a new sauna available free to use from 4pm to 8pm daily. Overall a pleasant stay based on the price. The hotel is about a 10min uphill walk away from the Gondola which is ok but not ideal but there is ample free parking.

Lovely place to stay with family. Ate in the main restaurant most evenings but walked into the village centre for dinner occasionally, which is a 10 minute stroll. The mattresses seemed new and comfy (I’m very fussy and was worried about that) so I believe have been replaced since the comments in previous years.

Spent two week at Hotek Bor in Borovets. Really enjoyed my time at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The view of the mountain is lovely. Breakfast and dinner buffets were great. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the main gondola, yet it is about a 12 minute walk to the Gondola. Perfect way to get a little warm up before heading to the mountain for skiing & snowboarding. I would definitely consider staying at Hotel Bor again for my next visit to Borovets.

Quiet hotel at edge of the resort, a bit old fashioned and slightly shabby, but clean , plenty of good food and helpful staff.

I've spent a week in the hotel and did not have any issues wit the accommodation. It was quiet, clean and cheap in price but not in service. Staff was polite and smiling. The food in the restaurant was plenty and delicious.

Turda tanıştığımız ama önceden tarafıma bilgileri verilen otel odalarını benim ayrıttığım 4 ayrı aile ile otele giriş yaptık.Ancak resepsiyondaki kadın bizleri 1 günlüğüne aynı odalara yerleştirmek istedi.Bizi çok uğraştırdı.Hiç hoş karşılancak bir durum değil.Zorlamalarımız sonucu akşam oda açtı.Ertesi gün odalarımızı değiştirdi.Otelde asansör ve bellboy olmadığı için 4 kata bavulları kayakları taşımamız gerekti.Saç kurutma makinesi odalarda yok.Kısıtlı olarak resepsiyondan isteniyor.Bu konuların değerlendirilmesini rica ederim.

great location ,walking distance to the center, tasty food but lack of selection, clean and warm rooms, good wi fi , the lobby is cold ans the bar is not operated like it could (not enough staff) I would suggest a game room for the kids, more staff (younger )

The hotel is quite a low standard. It probably used to be a grand hotel a long time ago but it's really far from the pistes and quite run down. The staff were nice but that was the only redeeming feature

Wifi was poor in rooms on higher floors, buffet on the third day was off and just a plate of random food.

Hotel Bor is clean, warm, comfortable beds and great staff, out of the way but nothing that a 5 minute walk wouldn't fix. We've hired our ski gear from Pro xtreme side of the gondola fantastic service tell them simon sent you! Cheap as chips

Room too hot. Last occupants had smoked. Otherwise good basic hotel with a nice communal area.

Excellent value for money and only 5 minutes up the hill from the slopes ( once you find the wee shortcut) the room was basic but very clean and warm. Nice friendly staff I would definitely book there again.
