If your in this area give this one a try. Love it so much the staff was helpful and understanding. Felt really welcoming and everything was token care of. Even when you go out your room is always clean.

Good location, staff was friendly, Jared from concierge was a great help. Breakfast was average.

Great location

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown. I was able to leave my bags for a few hours prior to check-in, check-in a couple of hours early and leave my bags for almost a full day after check-out. The staff were all very polite and accommodating. Even though I was only there a couple of nights the staff appeared to take the time to remember me. The room was small but well appointed. The bathroom was great. Location is perfect.

Staff were welcoming. Property is conveniently located in the heart of GTA. Located close to a subway station as well.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were kind and attentive. The parking was terrible. I drive a truck and the underground parking lot height does not accommodate large vehicles including SUVs. I had to park in an outdoor lot and it was expensive. The underground lot was also $40 dollars per night. Someone had vomited in the pool, so that was not usable for the entire three days that I was there. The gym is very small and you have to walk along the deck of the pool to get to the gym. Overall I would give this hotel a 7 out of 10. Not great, not terrible, just good and does the job.

TENGAN CUIDADO: La peor experiencia de la vida y he estado en hoteles en más de 24 países. Una mujer de rasgos asiáticos en al recepción me insistia en que introdujera mi tarjeta para pagar al momento de registrarme sin ver el total. Como era tanta la insistencia, me pareció sospechoso y quise ver el total, yo pedí nuevamente ver el total, cuando lo imprimió y eran más de $675 dólares, mucho más de 238 dólares de lo que era el precio original que había visto. Le dije que me explicara cómo había subido así el precio que eso no era lo que decía. Me dijo que pagara, sin explicaciones,es decir de servicio al cliente...no tenía ni idea la señora. Le dije que no iba a pagar, 238 dólares adicionales y que entonces cancelaba la reservación porque mi derecho de usuaria diría daría la opción de no usar un servicio que sale de mi presupuesto, porque hay un incremento que no estaba contemplado. Ella me dijo que era mi problema y que me fuera entonces y allí mismo me puse a buscar otro hotel...eran las 8 de la noche. SORPRESA TERRIBLE, a la media noche me cobraron $169.56 por parte del Holiday Inn de Toronto, conste que tuve que buscar otro hotel. Así que NUNCA usen este hotel...y al Holiday Inn...qué pena que una persona de su staff les represente tan mal, realmente mal.

The windows are paper thin so I heard everything outside. The walls are great. The hallway got a bit noisy from midnight to about 3am on one of three nights, specifically Friday night. Other than that, I had a nice stay.
