Unique building with well provided rooms at a great price. Felt totally safe as a solo female traveler. Highly recommend!

Really excellent budget option. My room was small but clean, comfortable, and functional. Great location near McGill. Maybe the only downside was that they don't have a lot of people working the desk, but that wasn't an issue for me.

My only issue was the parking situation I parked on the road in front of the building and it was fine didn't get a ticket great place to stay very CLEAN Close to the main street St Catherine.

It is self check in, but I didn’t receive check in instructions to my email prior to arriving, so I had to call to be directed on what to do. My washroom was in the hallway and the code for the washroom would not work. Someone was later sent to address the issue. Staff should work on phone etiquette.

The bathroom was down the hall and the buttons were quite hard to operate, but otherwise it was wonderful!

We stayed 1 night and it was adequate. The one issue, there was a sewer smell in the bathroom. Could probably be fixed with a plummer looking into it.

This old hotel [house] was very unique - kind of like the British sitcom "Fawlty Towers." The steps up into the place, the steps and bannisters up to 2nd & 3rd floors, accessing the other part of the building via one stairwell to another. Each room was different - some had closets, others didn't, the bathrooms were modernized, the heating registers. A real [fairly inexpensive] experience in such a cosmopolitan city of Montreal.

The property is quite in a nice area & walking distance to Metro Subway. My studio style room I stayed in on the third (3rd) floor was very cozy & very clean. The queen bed was very comfortable. I felt like I was in my own bed at home. And, the staff were very nice & accommodating. Excellent customer service & I highly recommend this property who are looking for a place to stay in Montreal.

Très propre. Lits très confortables, température confortable. Personne pour nous accueillir, mais c’est pas grave car indications reçues claires et faciles à suivre pour l’accès au hall et à la chambre. Petit Resto-cafe à l’entrée, le menu était très interessant même si nous n’avons pas essayé Aucun stationnement, mais beaucoup de stationnements payants autours. À quelques minutes à pieds du Centre BELL et de beaucoup de magasins et de resto populaires. Très simple comme endroit, mais ça fait la job pour un prix très abordable. J’y retourne sans hésiter et le recommande chaleureusement.

Très bien situé et abordable pour le secteur. L’établissement aurait besoin de rénovations car il accuse son âge; prises électriques déficientes donc rallonges électriques partout, plâtre endommagé par endroit et certains murs à retaper mais cachet vieillot charmant.

Lovely older cafe close to downtown Montreal. Upon arrival around 11pm my key wasn't in the lockbox, but the concierge came right away when called and made a new key for me to make my way in. Everything was clean and available and the staff were friendly and conversational. Highly recommended.
