M Montreal - Hostel

Customer service was superb! The area is the Village. Very inviting and welcoming to all! The appreciation for abd of diverse groups and travelers is refreshing. Montreal is not as inviting as one may think. But the M Montreal hostel has an embracing culture. The property is also solo traveler friendly as well as family friendly. The area is conveniently located in the heart of Montreal by expressway and walking distance to Berri QUAM there you will find multiple train routes and buses to outskirts and old Montreal, Cafe shops and retail stores.... also a mall for shopping and the grand library.... It is in proximity to the bus (Greyhound and Flexibus, Orleans Express for travel to Quebec etc., and train (Amtrak VIA) depot. Walking distance. The colleges and universities and Mount Royal Park are close by. Within a minute is St. Catherines for immediate needs like PharmaPrix, Dollar Store, Eateries and more. A simple stroll. Group or couple walks because there is homelessness in the area too.

The property was nicely renovated and very clean. We liked that there was courtyard space. The rooftop hot tub was amazing! Staff were friendly and helpful

Our stay was great! We were in one of the private apartments. It was clean, the hostel was cute and had lots of amenities and the bar had nightly activities that were fun. Laundry and kitchen facilities were great. Location was good and close to metro. My only complaint is that you only got two coffees in your room every three days and had to buy the rest (we looked at grocery stores but couldn’t find the particular type of pods it took) and that the hot tub was in kind of rough shape. The water was hot but the jets didn’t work. Overall we’d definitely stay again!
