It badly in need to be refurbish. Smell of cigarette even though smokeless room request. The corridor is dark.

I would not ever return to this hotel or recommend it to anyone! The front desk gave me one problem after another since the moment I walked into the hotel. They claimed my reservation was for only 1 room instead of 2, even after I showed them my confirmation email from Expedia. I then called Expedia to confirm. Expedia sent them an email to confirm. I repeated asked the hotel to check their email and each time I was told they had not been contacted by Expedia either by phone or by email. When I suggested we get on the phone to speak with Expedia together, they miraculously found the email from Expedia. So much of my vacation was wasted on these incompetent and unscrupulous people. They assigned me 2 rooms on a smoking floor and I had to insist to be moved to a non-smoking floor. Then one of those rooms was also smoky after multiple requests for treatment to remove the smell. For some reason, the room always smelled like fresh smoke after each treatment. I suspect this was a ventilation problem.

Check-in experience was aweful, website says multilingual staff but on arrival no one spoke any english. It was difficult to cumminicate with staff, had to use a translation app on their mobile throughout my 3 night stay. Transport was a nitemare, you really need to know someone in Meizhou with a car to privately hire. No currency exchanges, if you need to exchange currencies, only Bank of China (if its opened) otherwise you are stuck, so be prepared to have alot of cash in Chinese Yuan/RMB. Mobile coverage, make sure your carrier has international roaming otherwise there is no chance of getting hold of a local mobile prepay sim unless you have a chinese ID card. Overall rate of my stay, interesting, eventful, stressful, enjoyable at times, picturesque and food is great and dirt cheap.

This Hotel is located in a nice area, City center , Near shopping mall and many nice restaurants ! Hotel is old but well maintain ! Bath room needs refreshing ! Staffs is very friendly and helpful !

Cleanliness of room

Even on non-smoking floors, rooms still smell like someone had smoked. Even the towels smell

Very good，I like it a lot!

I stayed in a executive suite with 2 Queen sized beds. Room was very spacious with a small pantry area separated from the beds. Bathroom was big with a luxurious bathtub. Understand from the locals that hotels away from the city centre (such as Ramada) tend to be bigger. Drive to the city centre is only 10mins and cost approximately 12RMB. Definitely a great staying experience!

Staffs were all quite friendly, room was huge but not well maintained, we got crooked table and power point was coming off the wall. Bathroom was reasonably clean but the shower cubicle could do with better cleaning for grim. Bed linen was not fresh, which was very dissapointing

物超所值

Wir haben in Meixian Verwandte und keine Sehenswürdigkeiten besucht. Es gibt viele gute Restaurants in Meixian. Die Stadt hat eine angenehme kleinstädtische, gemütliche Atmosphäre trotz 1 Mio Einwohner. In dem Hotel sind wohl nicht so häufig internationale Gäste, aber das Personal bemüht sich sehr. Geld kann man kaum tauschen. Nach mehreren Versuchen bei verschiedenen Banken ging es dann bei der Bank of China. Unser Geldtausch in der Bank hat dann 1 Std. gedauert. U.a. war ein Problem, dass auf unserem Pass nirgendwo Germany oder GER stand. So dass die Mitarbeiter uns nach langer Zeit fragten, aus welchem Land wir kommen.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. Service was good and they actually gave us local biscuits for tea. Location is in quiet neighborhood but food stores for breakfast and supermarket was near by.

晚間抵達酒店check-in時,酒店的櫃台人員查找不到我在Hotels.com的預訂記錄,還說他們並沒和Hotels.com合作,大約等待了20時分鐘才找到訂房記錄的烏龍事件,房間還算乾淨,價格合理

Very nice place to stay, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They can also speak Hakka. They can arrange a driver for you to make excursions within this region at a reasonable price. The closeness to the train station is convenient. The price of the rooms are very good for a hotel of this quality. All services are available in the hotel, I need more time to spend here to savour the other services.
