Great villa. All new and well maintained. Stunning location, close to the jungle and overlooking the pacific. House has all facilities. Be mindful there is a 15 min or so gravel road to the main road / village

Nơi lưu trú này không có quầy tiếp tân. Trước khi đến, khách phải hoàn thành thủ tục đăng ký trực tuyến với nơi lưu trú qua liên kết an toàn. Khách sẽ nhận được email có hướng dẫn nhận phòng và thông tin nhận chìa khóa 24 giờ trước khi đến. Quản lý sẽ đón tiếp khách tại nơi lưu trú. Khách cần tải xuống app di động WhatsApp của nơi lưu trú trước khi nhận phòng.

Absolutely amazing location with stunning views. The property is new, well maintained, clean and has everything to need for your stay. We stayed in the Tucan villa, the pool was perfect and the covered deck was great on warm rainy days. The staff was super friendly and easy to connect with through What’sApp. Uvita beach is a short drive away, lots of good restaurants nearby. We stayed 12 nights and didn’t want to leave! We will definitely come back here if in Costa Rica again.

Maison bien équipée avec une vue splendide. Explications fournies par la propriétaire pour atteindre la maison très claires. Par contre route d'accès cahotique sans 4x4 et longue (5km). Une fois qu'on a atteint la maison, on n'a pas très envie de ressortir dîner.

We stayed for 8 nights in the Caracara house. It had everything we needed and had a great stay! Alberto and all the staff were helpful, friendly and amazing. The views were breath taking. We stayed in June 2025, during the rainy season and were so thankful we rented a 4wheel drive vehicle. We explored a lot and had a blast!

An INCREDIBLE time at Canavida. The area is stunning. The team that runs the resort is fabulous. We stayed at Casa Oropendola. The view of the Pacific was INCREDIBLE. As was the wildlife.
The whale tail beach (and national park) is just down the hill and it's amazing. Playa Hermosa is also great (and has lifeguards). Loved the local waterfalls too (just a short drive away).
I suggest renting a 4x4. It will make the drive easier. Lots of options for groceries at the bottom of the hill. We stayed for 6 nights and could have happily stayed even longer.
FYI, Uvita is used to tourists so you can get around with little/no Spanish.

Beautifully furnished and comfortable condo nestled in a jungle setting overlooking the ocean. Sparkling clean infinity pool, full kitchen, BBQ pit on back patio, excellent service from host and staff. The 5k maintained rock road to get there from main hwy is a bit of a rough drive but well worth it. This was our 5th trip to Costa Rica and we have stayed at many wonderful places- but none as amazing as CanaVida. Only stayed 2 nights- wish we had stayed 2 weeks!

The property is amazing! I have been traveling to Costa Rica since 1990 and I can tell you Canavida is one of the best values ever. From the initial communication and through the entire stay I was impressed. The condo we stayed at was perfect. Clean, well appointed, ocean views right out the back sliding glass doors, etc. I could go on. This is 100% a place I would highly recommend when in the Dominical/Uvita area. Just make sure to get a 4x4 to make access to the property as it is up the hill a little but do not let that discourage you. It is more than worth it.

We drove from Ojochal side and the Google map link took us through the right road side. We eventually did get there. We stayed in Toucan (3 bedroom). The communication was on point.
The road is indeed unpaved and it takes us about 15 min. We did have a 4x4 but didn’t really need to use the function only when it rained.
We did notice the adjoining bedrooms, we can hear each other’s conversation. We were 2 couples and had to decide which rooms would give us more privacy.
The place was real nice and cool. There’s AC in all the bedrooms and living room.
The kitchen has most of what you’ll need to cook a meal.
We couldn’t get the AC on and it was immediately addressed. We had to play with the shower to get the right temperature. It’s either very hot water or cold. We didn’t get a chance to address this.
We’d stay here again. We felt safe and comfortable.

We stayed at Casa Oropéndola at Canavida Resort from March 31st to April 4th, and it was nothing short of magical. The property is absolutely stunning—tucked into the lush hills of Uvita with breathtaking ocean views and surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and tropical birds, then taking a dip in our own private pool while watching the sunrise—unreal.
The 2-bedroom home is beautifully designed, with a perfect balance of modern comfort and eco-luxury. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which made it easy to enjoy meals at home. We spent most of our time outside on the patio or in the pool, soaking in the peaceful vibes.
The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to the beaches, waterfalls, and the national park, but still feels totally secluded and serene. The drive up is part of the adventure (definitely recommend a 4x4), and the views are 100% worth it.
The hosts were fantastic—super responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay.
We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. If you're considering a stay here—do it. You won’t regret it.

Bel endroit et logement bien équipé. Route d’accès de 5km non asphaltée mais cela reste praticable. Belle vue de la piscine. Avoir conscience que lieu est équipé de 5 condos donc promiscuité…, toutefois sans difficultés ou nuisance pour nous. En synthèse, bon séjour de 2 nuits et bon rapport qualité prix.

Traumhafte Location, erst vor einem Jahr fertiggestellt. Jesseca ist sehr nett und kümmert sich um das Wohlbefinden. Mega Aussicht und traumhafte Geräusche des Dschungels. Anfahrt über 4 km Schotterweg teilweise steil bergauf war sehr beschwerlich. Wir konnten den Weg mit 4x4 bewältigen. Werden die Zeit dort oben nicht so schnell vergessen

We stayed at Casa Oropéndola at Canavida Resort from March 31st to April 4th, and it was nothing short of magical. The property is absolutely stunning—tucked into the lush hills of Uvita with breathtaking ocean views and surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and tropical birds, then taking a dip in our own private pool while watching the sunrise—unreal.
The 2-bedroom home is beautifully designed, with a perfect balance of modern comfort and eco-luxury. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which made it easy to enjoy meals at home. We spent most of our time outside on the patio or in the pool, soaking in the peaceful vibes.
The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to the beaches, waterfalls, and the national park, but still feels totally secluded and serene. The drive up is part of the adventure (definitely recommend a 4x4), and the views are 100% worth it.
The hosts were fantastic—super responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay.
We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. If you're considering a stay here—do it. You won’t regret it.

Bel endroit et logement bien équipé. Route d’accès de 5km non asphaltée mais cela reste praticable. Belle vue de la piscine. Avoir conscience que lieu est équipé de 5 condos donc promiscuité…, toutefois sans difficultés ou nuisance pour nous. En synthèse, bon séjour de 2 nuits et bon rapport qualité prix.

Traumhafte Location, erst vor einem Jahr fertiggestellt. Jesseca ist sehr nett und kümmert sich um das Wohlbefinden. Mega Aussicht und traumhafte Geräusche des Dschungels. Anfahrt über 4 km Schotterweg teilweise steil bergauf war sehr beschwerlich. Wir konnten den Weg mit 4x4 bewältigen. Werden die Zeit dort oben nicht so schnell vergessen
