Eddie´s Sea View Rooms

The location is the best part of this place. It’s about a 3-minute walk from Pile Gate and right by a bus stop. I arrived by ferry from Hvar, couldn’t get an Uber because they kept canceling, and ended up taking the bus for €2.50. It worked out perfectly and was very easy to find. My biggest issue was the check-in process. The host is very strict about the 2:00 p.m. check-in time, even if your room is already ready. Everyone waits until all guests arrive before he checks passports and payment, hands out a map, explains the area, then takes each guest to their room to explain the AC, TV, and Wi-Fi. The whole process took about 45 minutes to an hour. Check-out is just as strict at 10:00 a.m., which I found frustrating given the late check-in. The cleaning staff knocked on my door right at 10:00 while I was finishing packing, even though other empty rooms were still waiting to be cleaned. The room is older, with dated furniture, and the towels smelled old. Don’t expect anything modern. It’s simply a place to sleep. Eddie was friendly overall, just very strict with the check-in and check-out process. I would recommend this place if convenience is your priority and you don’t plan to spend much time in the room. The location is excellent, and there are fewer stairs than many places nearby, although my room was actually on the third floor.

Eddies Sea View Rooms is AMAZING!!! Eddie gave us lots of tips and was always so helpful and friendly! me and my Fiancé had the best stay here, if we’re ever back in Dubrovnik we’re staying here again! it was a perfect location if you want to explore the walls and the beach!

The place was amazing and the view from our room was spectacular! The host is so helpful and gives you amazing places to go eat and see while you are there!

Ubicación excelente a unos pasos del centro histórico. Eddie el dueño es una persona muy amable. El único detalle es que no hay elevador y hay que subir y cargar equipaje hacia las habitaciones.

Je recommande sans réserve ce logement. Edi est super sympa, plein d'humour, nous a donné les bons plans et les pièges à touristes à éviter. La chambre n'est pas très grande, mais vue sur la mer c'est trop bon d'ouvrir les volets tous les matins...

Location is great. Near the Old town gates. No lugging you luggage up and down hills. Great view of "Kings Landing". Eddie goes out of his way to explain the lay of the land!

Modest rooms but with great views from both 1st and 2nd floor rooms over of Dubrovnik's old western harbour. It is a great location close to the local bus terminus stop at Pile for buses to ferry and coach terminals and to all western districts, and for starting a walk of the citt walls before the crowds arrive. First impressions are a bit down to earth with entry through a covered yard full of washing machines, but the main block is rather more spruce! Very friendly personal welcome from Eddie on arrival, with sensible tips on places to eat out. Good double glazing kept out all sound, but if you did want background of waves to lull you to sleep that was an option, although I suspect in high season sound from the pub on the might be an issue. Shower was clean, reliable and easy to use.

The room is small but contains all essentials. The location is superb - a few steps from the entrance to the old city. Eddie is a wonderful host and gave us great advice on what to do and where to eat.

Excellent location right near everything in the heart of Dubrovnik. Edi the host is great, he let me check in early & gave me a full rundown of the local sights / recommendations. Room is very small but does the job for a short stay - clean & comfortable. Would recommend.

Eddie was amazing and very friendly! His customer service was excellent! I felt safe as a solo female traveler. There was a locked gate before entering the property with security cameras. Location couldn’t be more conveniently located!! Only complaint is that there was no AC (which Expedia stated there would be) this wouldn’t have been a problem opening the windows other than it was very loud outside! No ocean view from the room I was in.

Incredible view of the Adriatic- well worth the price. The room is a bit crowded but ok for a short stay.

We were so impressed by Eddie’s Sea View Rooms. We stayed in an ocean view room and WOW the view was stunning. Additionally, the hotel is perfectly positioned steps from the Pile Gate (entrance to old town) and the sea. Eddie was an amazing host and provided recommendations around the town. We will definitely be staying with Eddie again and highly recommend him! Pictured: view from our room :)
