Filskov Kro

It was perfect! The suite was big enough for us (family with one child). There was a little playground, the breakfast was delecious, and service very polite and friendly. The location is about 15 car minutes from Legoland away. We recommend it and would book again.

Hyggeligt sted med helt igennem fantastisk service. - God aftensmad på stedet. Selvom jeg ikke kunne nå og spise morgenmad, så fik jeg en god morgen komplet med på turen. 👏

Koselig kro med veldig god mat. Både frokost og restauranten var bra. Gode senger og praktiske rom. Passelig avstand til Billund.

Filskov Kro är riktigt gammal och har drivits av samma familj i fyra generationer, tills nyligen, nu förvaltas det. Det ligger i Filskov 1 mil från Grindsted och vill man äta ute, är restaurangen på kroen enda alternativet. Vi hittade en fantastiskt vacker park "Anlægget" ett par 100 m utmed huvudgatan. Massor av lekredskap och sandlådan är fylld av sandleksaker som man kan låna. Se upp för dammen, som inte är inhägnad! Kroen fin atmosfär, med vänlig och omtänksam personal. Plus för städerskan som föreslog att hon skulle låsa upp innerdörren mellan två av våra rum, så vi smidigt kunde gå emellan. Det var en stor fördel. Sköna sängar och tyst utanför. Fin och fräsch frukost med smaskigt utbud, inte minst chokladpålägg et, som är ett måste om man är dansk. 😊 Det fanns också en bivaxkaka att plocka honung från, mums! Också bra med fyllda kaffetermosar att ta med till bordet. Däremot serveras inte det klassiska äggröra-bacon-korv eller pannkakor, men vi var väldigt nöjda ändå. Prisnivån låg lite för högt för att vi åt i restaurangen, så vi åkte till Grindsted istället, där utbudet av matställen var stort.

The restaurant and the grounds were nice, but we were given rooms that looked different from the pictures shown at the time I booked them. The bathrooms had a lot of mildew in the showers, you could feel every spring in the beds, and the rooms were carpeted (photos showed uncarpeted floors).

The reception have changed. Some are the photos are not matching the current reception. I think the bar/restaurant was suppose to close at 10. Last serving was at aroung 9:15. Very cozy tavern.

Everything was amazing and my nephews nosebleeds did not ruin the stay

Service was great and the room was clean, but it need air conditioning, it was hot in the summer!

Værelset var super fin, men morgenmaden var mangelfuld, der blev ikke fyldt op og man måtte vente længe på både et rundstykke samt et æg, som der kom 3 ind af gangen af. Prisen er i den absolut høje ende

Angenehme Athmosphäre im Hotel, insbesondere die separaten Sitzgelegenheiten im Kaminzimmer, die Couchtische mit Sesseln, an denen man Spiele spielen kann, lesen oder nur chillen.

A very comfortable one night stay prior to an early flight back to the UK. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially in arranging an early breakfast on a Sunday morning. Excellent traditional Danish menu for lunch on arrival.

Very Nice rooms and surroundings with playground and activities for kids, staff is kind and serviceminded and the restaurant/kitchen serves formidable food at a very reasonable cost! We will visit again some time soon

Vi havde vores børn og børnebørn med, de små leget i børnerum, da det var dårligt vejr kunne vi ikke være ude i de dejlige udenfor arealer ❤️

The staff was very friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious but the room had a horrible smell that would not go away. We stayed only one night in our way to Billund airport but I would not recommend more than that.
