Herman, Jenaika, Neresa, Glinda and Miguel. Such a great staff. Thank you for making our stay wonderful and enjoyable. You accommodated our needs and made sure we have an unforgettable stay.
The location is very close to Roseau and all the key adventures of the island.
They kept the place very clean and the food, delicious as we ate there in the morning and most nights. The lush greenery surrounding the property made us feel so cozy. Highly recommend for your stay. Book ahead, they only have 14 rooms

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Villa Copthall! The service was exceptional! Many thanks to the great staff who took very good care of us. I will miss you all. I hope we can meet again!
Additionally, the location was very serene. I loved the coziness of being tucked away between the mountains…yet, the hotel was not too far from the capital, and many attractions!
My only note to mention was that we saw that breakfast was included in the price. When we checked in, we were told that part of the breakfast (fruit and a drink I believe) were complimentary. However, I was really impressed and grateful that the staff cooked meals to my liking, and even adjusted the menu on occasion.
Overall…

This is a cosy and quiet retreat close to the rainforest. The look of the place is impressive.
There are virtually no other choices nearby for food and drinks, so you will likely to be reliant on using the hotel bar. The food and drinks were fairly good, but the menu is limited and even then, much was unavailable.
I arranged the islands main hiking excursion (to Boiling Lake) through the hotel staff. Unfortunately their booking mistakes resulted in me setting off around 2 hours later that I’d want and this created extra pressures.

Wonderful place in a great location. It's near Trafalgar waterfall and the national park, yet close to capital as well. Peaceful, lovely neighborhood. Wonderful, quiet, spotless room. Narissa was so very kind to us. She waited there until got there after the long drive from the airport. Reasonable cost. Just great. Highly recommend.

Loved the scenic location of the hotel. Spacious and clean room. The complementary breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed dining in at the onsite hotel restaurant V.Lounge and Grill. Free parking was available on site. The staff were friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Copthall.

We had a great stay at Villa Copthall. The hotel has such a lovely welcoming vibe. The staff was so kind and helpful. They volunteered lots of information and ideas for things to do in the area. Thank you to Ricky and Herman for all the nice things they did to make our kids smile. The pool and the view was great as well. Lots to do in the area. Get an AWD car to explore the surroundings.

Whenever I am in Dominica, I will stay at Villa Copthall. The staff is exceptionally courteous and attentive. Breakfast and Dinner on site with Bar was clutch. Parking is available and secure. The area is quiet and serene and close to downtown.

Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en erg betrokken. Ze checkten regelmatig bij ons in en deden er alles aan om ons thuis te laten voelen en ons te verwennen. Ze waren oprecht geïnteresseerd en er was veel persoonlijke aandacht. Naast de fantastische locatie, dicht bij vele highlights, gaf het hotel een ontspannen, lokale feel maar met absolute internationale standaard. Wij zouden het aan iedereen aan kunnen raden!

Property was exactly as described in the photos they provided. Rooms have the basics, nothing fancy but were clean.
Location was great for us in Roseau Valley as we needed to be in that area. Also very close to Roseau.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
We got breakfast included which was a local fruit plate, coffee, fresh juice, toast and jam. They also do have eggs and bacon and pancakes available for an additional cost (which was tasty).

A very comfortable base for a few days hiking in the valley. So peaceful- I slept great. The king room was compact but comfortable & enjoyed the refreshing pool. It was nice to have the bar/restaurant when tired post-hike for easy refreshment, but I definitely recommend checking out some other great little spots in the area.
The staff were friendly and helpful- went above & beyond for the morning our guide wanted to meet before their breakfast hours- set us up with a coffeemaker and fruit the night before.
We self-drove and there was plentiful parking. After driving around the valley & seeing some of the other places I researched way up the winding lanes, Villa Copthall is much easier to access.

Such a lovely hotel! The owners who run it are super friendly and helpful, and recommend things to do. The room was really comfortable and clean, and the setting is beautiful (in the middle of the mountains). The restaurant there is also amazing and very reasonable (we ate there every night), would definitely recommend!
