This boutique hotel is on the outer rim of the old town. The rooms were spacious and clean and the the bathroom was the same. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was delicious.
My breakfast was included and was delicious combination of fresh fruit, breads and made to order eggs. Had dinner and this also was delicious.
The Old Town is very hilly, with cobblestones - so best to wear sturdy shoes on walks. My ch to see around town - 2 days was a good amount of time to get acclimated to the elevation and see some sights.

It was just a perfect Jewell in the old city.
Best breakfast, large rooms and very quiet. I loved the romantic style of this boutique Hotel.

Beautiful hotel, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and staff were very hospitable and accomodating.
There was no morning coffee/ tea in the hotel unless you paid for a full breakfast buffet.

This hotel was amazing all except for the bed. It was not very comfy, and the pillows were cheap. Since sleeping well is the main point of a hotel, I’m not sure I would stay here again despite my 5 star rating. The service, staff, location, and amenities were all amazing.

Lovely old building renovated very nicely - it has a lovely atmosphere and some beautiful views from the upstairs mirador. The room was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The courtyard with plants is bright and cheerful.
My room was comfortable and I really liked the wood carving decor. It added to the Spanish colonial vibe.
The area the hotel is in is excellent, right in the the historic center. Very walkable to shopping, restaurants, and sites. On the weekend there are nearby bars that can be loud, but with the fan, I couldn't hear the noise.
The staff is friendly and attentive. At check out they asked for payment for the room, even though I pre-paid through Expedia. When I confirmed my Expedia reciept and showed them, they apologized and canceled the transaction on my credit card. I wonder if I didn't say anything would I have paid twice?

This hotel, in the historic area of Quito, is a beautiful and week run hotel. The employees are attentive, helpful and most speak English as well as Spanish. There is a lovely shop attached to the hotel for gifts & treasures. Also, a fun “chocolate” sampling and history is presented each evening. The food is terrific, both morning and evening. Our only complaint is about the pillows … too hard. Oh, and earplugs are provided as occasional outside revelry can disrupt sleep. Use them:)

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Old Town Quito. Welcoming and warm interior, very hospitable and friendly. We sat with the manager upon arriving and he immediately made us feel welcome and important. We had questions about touring the old town, and touring the important sights of the city. He helped us plan our itinerary, told where & how to be cautious, and then sent us off to settle into our beautiful room. Dinner and breakfast both wonderful and delicious. The next day he lined us up with a driver/tour guide who spoke both Spanish and English, and had grown up in the city & environs. He, also, was wonderful so we used him for all of our various adventures. We highly recommend this lovely hotel for any time one is in Quito.
