Regency Pyramids

Op en top goede service.

We were given a room that was loud next to a bar and was no hot water. We asked to move and they moved us and that was nice. The staff was lovely and helpful. But not sure if it was the nights we were they but there was loud music every night till 4-5am so sleep was hard to come by. The views were great of the pyramids, but sleep is important.

A room with broken bed. Then changed to a new room at 17:00 No towels, bathroom with broken sink water and no warm water. Breakfast so awful , was obliged to take my family and find where to take Breakfast outside of the hotel. I booked the hotel because i thought i could go to the Pyramid gate by feet. But this gate is closed. So need to take a taxi to drive arround 30min if not big traffic. So please expedia update Information about this hotel location. And regarding the price of this hotel, it s soo exaggerated, i paied 109 eur for a night and some friends were in so much cheaper hotels for just 30 eur , which was cleaner and better Breakfast ,location and service I would give this hotel max 2 stars and the name Regency is a scam, i was in many Regency hotels which were minimum 4 stars and 5 stars . I have doubt that this hotel is part of Regency hotels. I tried to contact expedia Agent , since the virtual agent was not easy to complain through. But was not able to reach you. I am very disappointed Expedia, it is very bad experience that you putted me and my family I am really thinking about changing to other travel agency/ App After all years with you , it is really sad I am waiting for you feedback and reaction Best Regards Wael

Very bad hotel and breakfast was stale, lots of mismanagement and hotel is hungry to reap off money from guest. This is worst stay of my lifetime

No hot water & No shower pressure.

테라스에서 피라미드를 바라볼 수 있다는 건 쉽지 않은 행운이죠. 그리고 공항에서 호텔 픽업을 신청했는데 손님의 SNS를 찾아 얼굴을 알아보고 먼저 아는척을 해 주셔서 작은 감동이었어요. 다만, 욕실의 샤워기 수전이 떨어지는 등 수선이 필요했어요.

Sehr freundliches und bemühtes Personal, insbesondere in der Lobby. Schöne Rooftop-Bar mit gutem Essen und gute Lage mit Blick auf die Pyramiden und in der Nähe des Neuen Ägyptischen Museums.

El personal es muy atento y agradable

Aircon was broken, shower was broken, there was rubbish left overs of food all down the hall way. This wasn’t a 4 star hotel

Das einzig gute war die Aussicht vom Balkon auf die Pyramiden. Was hat uns nicht gefallen, Ja wo sollen wir da anfangen ? Die Eingangshalle bzw Foyer ist Kitschig überladen mit Plastikrepliken von Ägyptischen Statuen. Zimmer: Teppich mit Flecken, Fleckige Wände, Mobiliar Alt und Kaputt, fehlplatzierte Schalter und Steckdosen teilweise ohne Abdeckungen, Schrauben in den Schränken innenseitig Scharfkantig (Verletzungsgefahr). Auf den Matratzen hat vermutlich schon Ramses II. gepennt, so alt und verbraucht ist der zustand. Die Stahlfedern darin spürbar bei jeder Bewegung ! Frühstück: Nicht der Rede wert, nur nationales Frühstück, Alles einzeln Verpackt in Plastiktütchen, Pappbecher, Wurst und Käse vertrocknet, Kaffee nur Billiger Löslicher Pulverkaffee! Als wir den Frühstücksraum betraten um 09.00 Uhr (Frühstück bis um 10.00) kein Sauberer Tisch auffindbar nach Anfrage beim Personal (Personal saß gemütlich beim Chillen auf dem Balkon) wurde wieder-willig und wirklich schlampig ein Tisch hergerichtet. D. H. Die Tischdecke wurde umgedreht und der Tisch vorher mit derselben abgeschlagen !!! Lärm : Direkt zum Hotel gehören einige Räumlichkeiten die für Einheimische Hochzeiten genutzt werden (Ägyptische Hochzeiten sind Laut richtig Laut ! Jodelnde Frauen, Trommeln, Musik,) Während unseres Aufenthaltes waren jeden Tag mehrere Hochzeiten !!! Das alles direkt unterhalb der Balkone die Richtung der Pyramiden gehen ! Hotel liegt neben 4 Spuriger Hauptstraße,.Fazit Nie Wieder !!!

The only positive was the staff. They were very helpful, kind and friendly. However it does not warrant a 4 star rating Sheet did not even cover top of mattress. Mattress full of hard springs and uncomfortable. Shower kept turning hot and cold. Breakfast was not great. Only Nescafé. WiFi was weak. Only thing to recommend is that it is close to the pyramids and other than the over priced Marriott it looked like the best of the hotels around. Very tacky with overdone Egyptian motifs. Our room faces the street and street noises were very loud. Our friend’s room faced the inner courtyard ( with pyramid view) and had to deal with music until late as there were wedding parties below every night.

Bon rapport qualité prix mais ne pas prendre de chambre sur rue impossible de dormir le bruit des klaxons et des voitures c'est toute la nuit vraiment toute la nuit y ajouter l'aboiement des chiens toute la nuit aussi.

Had a fabulous stay here. Staff were very helpful and kind. The rooms view was amazing, so close to the pyramids. The hotel itself was a little tired and would benefit from a refurbishment. I understand that these things can't be done straight away and after covid, tourism is on its way up so hopefully these improvements shall be done. Everything else was great. Thankyou so much.

Once we walked into this hotel everyone made us feel safe and everyone was so friendly and nice it made us feel more at home rather. Would definitely recommend to others for there stay/visit in Egypt 🇪🇬 ❤️😊 My friend and I will definitely be back at Egypt and when we do we will make sure to book this hotel again for the next time❤️

The view of the pyramids from orvtoom snd the pool is fantastic
