48 Bishopsgate by City Living London

The location is very nice. Grocery shopping and traveling/walking around the city has been very easy. Kitchen is very functional and neat. The bedroom was not properly vacuumed before our arrival: a lot of hair on the floor and in the bed. The bathroom didn’t have proper heating and was cold. We contacted the management twice: not heard anything for the first attempt. The second email was related to cold bathroom and dirty floor. We got a response one day later (we stayed for three days)- only the floor was vacuumed but the bathroom stayed cold throughout our stay.

Pros: Great London location with a functional kitchen and washer/dryer Cons: No real time help with any immediate and urgent issues. While Simona was available over emails, there is no help for any time sensitive issues - of which we had at least 2. Maybe not the best property to book during the holidays,as they have no one to help with urgent issues. Bathroom for Apartment 4 needs a mold and mildew repair with caulking and cleaning.

Great location and loads of space

Great location - only a short walk to Liverpool St Tube. Good facilities in the room The host was accommodating and helpful to us when we needed to leave our luggage on the last day

Property needs some updating. The blinds in the bedroom window did not work at we had little privacy from the surrounding buildings. Peeling paint noted throughout the apartment.

Utmärkt lägenhet nära Liverpool street station. Vi fick problem med värdeskåpet, som gick i baklås. Detta löstes av personalen under dagen. . Det hade varit bra om dom hörde av sig när dom löst det. Så behöver man inte oroa sig. Annars är det i det närmaste perfekt.

While not cheap these apartments are very well located and generous in size. Liverpool Street station is a 5 minute walk and the bus stop is 2 mins away. The area is NOT quiet as the apartment is located on a major thoroughfare. The apartment is clean, spacious and has all the basic necessities. The reason for my poor rating is the poor service. Five of the bulbs in the apartment were not working and I called three times during my 5 day stay and spoke to someone who assured me someone will come to fix it shortly but nobody came. Similarly they did not top up any basic essentials like toilet paper or soap even though that is advertised.

Excelente ubicación. El apartamento 10 de 10. Limpieza, camas, utensilios, comodidad. Totalmente recomendable. Solo hubo un problema, que a la llegada no pudimos entrar en el apartamento hasta 2 horas después porque nos habían mandado mal la clave de entrada. Por lo tanto, tuvimos que hacer un montón de llamadas de teléfono, ya que en la escalera no había cobertura y se cortaban las llamadas. Llamamos a hoteles.com y al teléfono que nos facilitaron desde City Living London. Después de casi 2 horas conseguimos hablar con la persona que nos facilitó la clave correcta para poder entrar al apartamento. También tengo que decir, que por este incidente tuvieron un buen detalle con nosotros, cosa que agradecemos.

Perfekte Unterkunft für den Städtetrip mit der Familie. Wir hatten das Apartment im 2. Stock (App2). Wohnung sehr sauber. 2 Zimmer (1 Schlafzimmer, 1 Wohnküche mit Schlafcouch). Beide klimatisiert. Achtung: Schlafcouch für 2 Kinder (bis ca 15/16 J) ok. Für 2 Erwachsene eher ungeeignet, weil zu schmal (ca 1m breit). Ansonsten alles tip top. Küche ist vollausgestattet, inkl Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine). Bad sehr sauber. Apartment ist sehr zu empfehlen. Überaus zentral gelegen. Wir würden es auf jeden Fall wieder nehmen.

We loved the apartment, it was spacious and had everything we needed. If you are from the US. note that the dryer is a combined washer/dryer and you leave the laundry in and let it complete the wash and dry. These are common in Europe. I felt very safe with the personal door and gate codes plus deadbolts. It is a five minute walk to the Liverpool Street tube station, which connects to multiple lines. There were 3 of us so we had one queen size bed and one fold out couch. My daughter said the fold out bed was very comfortable.

Bedding wasn't the most comfortable and furnishings are dated. However the close proximity to Liverpool Street station for easy access to Heathrow on the Elizabeth Line and all of central London made this a solid value for a few nights. Though dated, property was very clean and well kept. Easy communication and clear instructions for check in despite no front desk or any onsite staff.

Property was close to the Underground which made it very convenient for all of London. Neighborhood itself had a nice vibe as well. I loved having the extra space too.

Location of property is excellent, so convenient to Liverpool St Station. The apartment itself was generally ok, there was definitely a slight musty smell to the apartment, that speaks to the age of the building as a whole, I imagine.

The lift was really nice when we brought the luggage up and down. The keyless entry was very convenient. The space was just what we needed. The mattress in the bedroom was very uncomfortable. The couch bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed other than the lack of any baking ware. Not even a cookie sheet. Overall, it was a very convenient and comfortable stay.

The location was very good and safe! Tha apartment was very spacious and comfortable! I would definitely recommend it and I will definitely visit it again.

Das Gute vorneweg: Die Lage des Appartements ist sehr gut, der Standort mit dem ÖPNV sehr gut erreichbar. Bei geschlossener Balkontür (und nur dann) hat man auch ausreichend Ruhe in den Räumen. Der Zugang zum Haus ist praktisch elektronisch gelöst. Das Bad ist sehr einladend. Die Klimaanlage arbeitet hervorragend. Weitaus weniger attraktiv sind folgende Merkmale: Der Geschirrspüler arbeitet zwar, das Geschirr bleibt aber schmutzig, der Apparat stinkt. Die Küche ist ausgestattet, aber sehr karg und nur minimal. Der Fernseher im WZ hat keinen Anschluss, das vorgesehene Kabel liegt herausgerissen hinter dem Gerät und ist obendrein viel zu kurz. 2 von 4 Jalousien im SZ sind defekt. WLAN ist vorhanden, aber so leistungsschwach, dass es den kleinen Balkon nicht erreicht, zudem ist die Geschwindigkeit unterirdisch. Die Matratzen im SZ haben gerade noch brauchbare Qualität, die Klappcouch im WZ ist indes ein Angriff auf Leib und Leben, darauf zu schlafen ein Martyrium. Die Fenster im WZ sind mit Innenscheiben festverglast, man kann sie nicht (nie mehr) öffnen, d.h. auch nicht reinigen, die Scheiben sind außen komplett verdreckt, man kann nicht lüften und nur sehr matt hindurchsehen. Man befindet sich inmitten der Hochhäuser, die Geräuschkulisse ist Tag und Nacht hoch bis sehr hoch, aber damit war zu rechnen, sehr urbanes Wohnen.

Sehr zentral, super Küche haben imm dort gefrühstückt.

Our family of four stayed for three weeks, and we were extremely satisfied. The flat had everything we needed, including laundry and air-conditioning, several grocery options within a few blocks, and two tube stops within easy walking distance (bonus: Liverpool St. Station is right on the Elizabeth line -- an easy journey straight from Heathrow). We were also consistently impressed with the responsiveness of Management to any of our questions or needs. We would stay here again.

Loved our stay at 48 Bishopsgate! Great location, spacious and comfy apartment with nice little kitchenette, and surprisingly quiet given the location right down town. Recommended, would stay again.
