Beddoe Apartments

There was not good communication about the size of the room. This was listed as suitable for 6 people and it certainly was not. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, the adults not in pairs. But we were willing to push through for one night. The other problem was an inadequate amount of linen. We needed more towels and blankets/sheets. I called Samantha to ask about additional linen and her response was not what I expected. She asked if we were cold because the room was adequately warm and we’d be fine with what we had. The pull out couch bed had no sheets and only 1 throw that was not big enough for one adult instead of 2. So my sons had to sleep without blankets and they were in fact cold. I’m still shocked my concerns and needs were dismissed. Providing extra blankets is such a simple thing. The room was clean but it definitely should not be rented to more than a party of 4.

Ideal for couple of nights stay. Easy parking was a bonus.

Perfect place for a one night stop over. Great Communication. Only issue were the pillows. Although there were 4 for the double bed, they were not very substantial.

The shower in the bathroom had quite a bit of Mold and also back of bathroom had some mold Growing on the ceiling. Overall though, very clean and comfortable.

We were located on the ground floor. The apartment was bright and clean. We had no problems whatsoever.

The apartments are great, furnished to a high standard and easily accessible by train or car with free parking. The only thing that’s a bit unusual for accommodation available on this site are the terms and conditions and proof of who you are that you need to complete and send back before the stay. The town centre is maybe 5 minutes walk and has a number of restaurants and pubs. The pub opposite the apartment is good and there is s Co-Op also opposite. I would stay again if I’m ever in the area again.

This is not a traditional hotel. There is no front desk and no attendant. The front door to the building is locked and the only available key resides in a lock-box that you must unlock (combination lock), retrieve the key, unlock the door, then return the key - you must do this every time you enter the building. There is a hidden, expensive cleaning fee on top of the room charge (remember to read the fine print!). Upon booking, I received an email asking for a copy of my passport and credit card - which they seem to think is ok to send via email (word of caution: never send that sort of info through email!). There is no soap or shampoo for the shower. The shower head leaked more than it sprayed. Our apartment was very small. There is no extra bedding for the pull-out sofa. The TV is ancient. WiFi is not free, and we never got it to work. 3 of the 4 windows did not function correctly - they either would not open or would not stay open. There is no air conditioning - which likely doesn't often matter, but my visit was during a heat wave, and it was uncomfortably hot inside... and the malfunctioning windows were of little help. It sits on a busy street where large trucks/lorries drive by at all hours - literally shaking the building. Parking is tight. I will never stay here again. There's a major chain hotel just down the street - stay there instead.

Room is al little bit small for an apartment flat. The smell of smoking and noise coming from next door was really disturbing. Parking area is useful.

Good information sent by the owner before our stay. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Good location for exploring Eastleigh and the South coast. Apartment is up quite a steep flight of stairs and had twin beds, there were downstairs apartments available though. Good to have allocated parking to the rear of the building. Could hear the lorries going past in the morning.

Great place and very convenient to explore the surroundings! Would recommend!

Excellent apartment with great local amenities, unfortunately there are two problems that meant it had to get a three star review: The front door slams every time someone comes in and out for cigarettes etc and my head was next to it, also the main road is very noisy so kept waking me up

Facilities and location were very good. I stayed in apartment 1. There are plenty of lical Facilities a convenience store and pub are over the road. The only down side was the noise from the traffic during rush hour. Ear plugs were supplied. If you want peace and quiet I wouldn't recommend however if you want a good Base location for the airport in an excellent clean comfortable room with amenities on your door step I'd highly recommended.

Lovely little room, well equipped kitchen in a handy location, had a lovely stay and will stay again as good value for money.
