Very noisy in the night-time but otherwise a very nice hotel with great facilities

Stilig, lite hotell med utrolig bra beliggenhet. Du er i nærheten av alt du trenger av offentlig transport, restauranter & kafeer, severdigheter og butikker. Føltes trygt. Synes det var relativt rolig om natten til tross for å ligge så sentralt. Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Her kan jeg bo igjen.

Fantastic from start to finish. Beautiful hotel in the centre of Manchester near all of the trendy bars and brunch spots. Beautiful room. Seamless check in and out.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Manchester. Very noisy at night which impacted my ability to fall asleep for a while. The shower seal was compromised which led to a very wet bathroom. Toilet paper was so basic, please invest in a quality toilet roll.

Brilliant location, really great Indian restaurant, lovely bar with great bar staff who make a mean cocktail Staff are very friendly and helpful at all time, great local knowledge and happy to make suggestions. Even to a point where they said “this” would be even better than your plans and they were right. I really appreciate service like this and such a great, clean, modern hotel. We will be back for sure

Hotels lovely, staff really attentive and polite. We had one of the smaller cosy rooms, really nice set up. Only negative, and a bit of a pet peeve of mine, is when you’re paying £200 a night, charging for water is a bit unnecessary to me, come on guys.

Anaother great 3 night stay here. Shame that only 1 of the 2 rooms were upgraded but all the rooms are great so wasnt an issue at all, although I would have enjoyed a bath during the stay. Will definitely stay here again.

I had a 4 night stay here for business, on arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming. I was upgraded to a suite and offered a complimentary drink on arrival. The room was perfect, spacious and very confortable. Electric black our blinds and dimable lights in an industrial style room. I cannot fault any part of the room. I'll definitely be staying again.

Stayed for my birthday and were very lucky to have our room upgraded to a beautiful suite!! We felt very taken care of, the room was so comfortable and cosy - we didn’t want to leave. The in-room breakfast was delicious and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much for making my birthday so memorable!

Staff were brilliant and rooms are quirky but well presented. Main issue was the noise from the street, rooms aren't well noise insulated so you hear everything from the street below. Also a few features in the room like blind not working, lights all on one switch so everything turns on and off instead of just bedside table for example. Well presented but room for improvement.

We have just stayed and booked the Comfort King room the room is very small however the decor is lovely. Bed is comfortable bathroom nice. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the corridor and above. The other room which we stayed in September was much better (obviously more expensive) signature deluxe. however I would recommend spending more to have a quieter night sleep. Excellent location, bar and restaurant. Staff on reception very friendly and welcoming

We laid out around £450 for a ‘signature suite’ with friends who had the same room above us. Same rates as the Dakota and Lowry are charging for the night. I have never had such an appalling sleep in years. The windows keep absolutely none of the noise out (these rooms face the front street) and we were kept up all night with the noise of shouting, screaming, car horns, traffic and revving of engines. The staff at the hotel were lovely (reception, bar) but the sleep experience let it down completely. Room was an odd configuration and unimpressive. Didn’t offer a room service breakfast options. Kept trying to upsell a ‘late’ checkout (12pm!) ahead of my stay. All-in-all really disappointing. Also, our friends preordered a ‘breakfast hamper/tray’ but when they enquired about it this morning were told “oh, somebody should have said we’re not doing these today”. Really? They went to an excellent cafe just 1 mins walk instead. No bluetooth speaker in room (as advertised). TV brightness was set so low (cost/energy saving mode) it was impossible to view the TV against the bright windows (settings were locked). No sugar with tea/coffee facilities. Save yourself the money, eye bags and frustration and book elsewhere. We couldn't wait to leave and went to the Lowry for a gorgeous breakfast where we were also able to charge the car.

Booked hotel as I was attending Conference. Hotel is 2 minutes walk from Conference Centre and ideally located to several bars and restaurants. In house Indian restaurant is highly recommended. Great hotel, very nice rooms and great service. Competitively priced and good value for money.

Staff were lovely and very helpful, they were always cheerful whenever we saw them. The hotel itself is very conveniently located, and there was an umbrella in our room for those rainy Manchester days. We found the bed a bit too soft for our liking, but that's a personal preference.

Had a slight issue the first night of my 2 day stay, but hotel responded very quickly which is a good indication that this is a great hotel this listen to their customers Thank you
