Very nice break away , staff where loved and very friendly. Room was perfect clean and warm 😍 will definitely come back .

Some of the fittings in the bathroom were a little shabby, but the bed was very comfortable, and there was a spa bath in my room, so overall a win win. Would stay again if in that area

Didn’t know quite what to expect, but had a very pleasant one night stay. Nice room clean and comfortable. Nice food in the pub. Friendly helpful staff . Would stay here again

The room accommodation was very nice and comfortable but the bathroom was out dated with mold, paint peeling from the ceiling, the toilet roll holder was very lose and there were cracked tiles on the floor and wall. Waited almost 45 minutes for a steak. No starter was ordered.

The rooms are in outbuildings to the main pub.
The old brick buildings are clearly worn, with paint chipping, large cracks in the ceiling, large stains on the carpet and generally in need of a refurb.
The furniture is in a good state of repair and the bed is super comfortable.
No fans available despite it being August and in the mid 20’s.
Have stayed in a Marston Inn previously and had an excellent experience, however this one was well off the mark.

Staff and food amazing great value for money but our room was a bit of a shambles. We had no power in the sockets. This was fixed but happened again when i quired why it kept shorting. Was told this happens all the time in that room. When we pulled the tv out from wall to check it was switchd on the dust and cobwebs was horrendous

Our second time here, first time amazing and a pleasant stay this time. Just a few gripes, the room was comfortable and the bed extra comfy. The window unfortunately was black with mold, the are the original windows but they would benefit from a thorough clean. The bathroom ceiling was peeling off in places and the glass shelf was missing in the bathroom. Unfortunately the opposite bedroom had their tv on all night otherwise there would be complete silence.
The room we were in this time started to look tired but this didn’t spoil our stay.

The room was very good, all the sockets had usb access which is great, bathroom was clean and all worked well, large space too.
I would stay again, quiet and comfortable.
