Hyde Park Place

Apartment nothing like advertised, dirty walls and floors. No extra bed even though there were 5 of us, broken sofa table (glass, and dangerous), needed to call for extra duvet and pillows, came late. walls in apartment disgusting with moister damages. No soap in bathroom, no lock on bathroom door. and so on. We stayed, we enjoyed London very much, would NEVER stay in that apartment again.

False advertising! The information for this property says that there are 2 double beds and a single bed. However there is no single bed. Seeing as we paid for a property with 3 beds we were very unhappy and it made our stay uncomfortable. Not to mention there wasn't even toilet paper in the apartment when we arrived!!! This is a basic necessity especially after one has been traveling all day. Other than these things the apartment was in a good location and easy to find. The property manager was available by phone when we wanted to check in. The apartment was clean enough.There was good wifi.

We came across Hyde Park Place during the last leg of our eurotrip. Essentially, we booked Hyde Park Place because we were arriving a day early and our originally booked hotel had no vacancies. Based on the pictures online, HPP seemed liked the ideal location because it was located near Hyde Park and numerous other touristy spots. Locating HPP proved to be difficult, but the point of contact was very helpful and he guided us to the correct location after several phone calls. In addition, the check in process and check out process for HPP was very quick and painless. Now as for the cons (if these are corrected then I would def rebook this hotel), there were several. Upon first glance, the room itself seemed fairly glamorous and it was fashionably put together, but after a few hours of staying there, things like door handles and broken appliances showed up. The most heartbreaking of it all was the in house washer/dryer was extremely dirty and smelled of mildew. This was heartbreaking because after a full Italy and France tour, we were in dire need of washing our clothes, but this washer just didn't seem safe to wash our clothes in. All in all, Hyde Park Place is not a bad accommodation, it just needs a bit of work. This place has to potential to be a prime accommodation and I hope with this review they get the visibly to improve. Maybe next year I'll return.

The owner didn't answer his phone, nor did he provide the correct/complete address for the flat in the booking. We booked a room for 5 people, but there was only enough beds and bed linen for 4. Called/talked to owner several times, but no extra bed was delivered. Only 1/2 roll of toilet paper for two day stay. No a/c, no free newspaper. The bolt on the flat door doesn't work well - too difficult to get out of the flat. No blackout curtain in one bedroom. Fixture in bathroom looked like it was about to break and flood the flat. Did have wi-fi.

Tiny dirty apartment being listed as a hotel. I booked it for my family vacation. Check in was extremely difficult as the “manager” of the property never answers his phone. You have to go up 5 flights of tiny dangerous stairs to get to it. This place was dirtier than a 1star motel. I didn’t even stay an hour and booked another hotel
