Marylebone Apartments

Poor state of cleanliness and repair, floor boards in the apartment above squeaked so badly you could hear every footstep, the tiniest bathroom ever … think en-suite but smaller and no wi-fi, or certainly no password despite this being advertised.

The apartments have an excellent location but… A narrow hallway leads to a narrow staircase up four floors (to Flat 4). Inside the living room was a good space but the television didn’t work until I had taken it off the wall and taped down the antenna lead. The kitchen was small. The kettle worked but the lid was broken. The fridge was turned off and took 30 hours to get cold so don’t bring anything perishable. The bedroom was okay but the double bed squeaked so badly that we ended up moving the mattress on to the floor. The bathroom was off the bedroom and tiny (you could just about turn around in it) and demonstrated a lack of care. The toilet seat was not fully secured, tiles were broken and it smelled of mould and the shower was a lukewarm trickle. On the whole the flat was clean although there was dust under the bed (when we moved it) and on the door frames. There was no WIFI and no directions on how to connect. So….not the luxury pad the location had promised.

Stay was easy. Well organised by host. Everything was good. Would stay again.

Old sockets in bathroom had been duct taped, old unused locks could be removed, windows could be better (wall built half way over kitchen window) Apart from the trek to the top floor (not faulting for that) had a good stay, room clean, everything works as expected. Will use again for business or a couple but too small for family of 4. Gentleman on phone for codes helpful and concise

the wrong password was sent so we couldn't get in the property leaving us on the street trying to contact people with luggage etc. however the office was closed out of hours. about 9.30 pm gained access as managed to have an email issued in the evening.

Risonal price, cozy rooms. Lonely travelers, like me, must be like this place!

A great place to stay, good location, Mario is very welcoming. The apartment was clean and tidy and has all you need for a short stay.

Excellent and beautifully presented property that felt very homely, welcoming and extremely clean throughout. As a traveling executive the I depend on top reasonable accommodation and this fit exactly that. The apartment was immaculately clean, spacious and modern for the needs of a traveling executive. My only issue which is disappointing was the check-in. I did not receive any prior confirmation from the property about the keycode or how to access my apartment. After telephoning and eventually getting through after four times, I was told the keycode the the building but the key to my apartment was hidden under the main building door mat because my apartment keypad was not working.... Giving how amazing the apartment was I was very disappointed with the poor communication that I received to have to get into the apartment. I did not want to ring and chase people, especially after a long haul flight. Other then the poor check-in and communication, my stay was fantastic and would stay again if only the check-in and communication improved.

Great location. Well equipped Perfect for having your own space near the centre & safe on your own. Walls a bit thin to the hallway but not many flats so disturbances infrequent Got a bit stressed about not being emailed the access code until late on day of arrival - (based on previous experience of accommodation scams in London) but don’t worry this is a genuine posting & a great apartment. Will be back

I would stay here again! The location was perfect! Less than a 5 minute walk to two metro stations/train stations. Very central to everything. The flat was more spacious than what I expected. The WiFi was really good, and place was very clean.

Fantastic location to access central London. Parking spaces around and a parking around the corner.

stayed for 2 night, we were ready for a tiny apartment with tight staircase since its in a central London, but not expecting a Refrigerator size bathroom (literally). 80 x 160 cms (since i am in construction). The shower pipe was broken so there was no water flow. Bed was broken into 2 pcs and would fall any moment. Old towels, average bathroom essentials. Overall not a good experience.

Mario the housekeeper is very friendly and kind. The apartment was squeaky clean. Just nice for the four of us (3 adults 1 child) and 3 medium luggages

I stayed in the ground floor apartment for one night on a business trip. It was clean and nicely presented. I saw a mouse in the kitchen and the bedroom door didnt shut. The noise from the flat upstairs was quite bad - I heard footsteps and movement all night and early in the morning. The owner knocked on the door at 9am to make sure everything was ok. Lovely gesture but a little intimidating as a lone female.

Great little apartment and location, easy to get in, comfy bed, exactly what I needed

(1) Location is good, tube and buses are all nearby. (2) Management staff "Mario" is very kind and helpful, I ran into him by chance. Im only happy with these 2. My room is located on top floor, I need to carry 2 big luggages up/down stairs. The washing machine is not working, they are aware of it but not notify guests, lucky Mario helped us the laundry. Basically there is no cleaning service, they only change the towels and take out the trash every 2 days, thats all. Barely get in touch with staffs, no respond sending message. If you arrive there, try to run into them at 9.30ish, they will be there checking the apartments, thats how I luckily met "Mario" for help. Price wise, i think it is still okay, but I may try airbnb next time.

As couple we felt it was nice apartman. Good size and location in London. Flat on top floor without elevator. Therefore I would advise to anybody older with mobility problem or with baby make sure you will get 1st floor apartman. Bed - little bit shaky. Kitchen window was opened when we arrived and kind of bit tricky to close due to the position behind dosin. No handle to push to close it. I managed at the end with power, but it took time. Anyway in this season I would avoid opening both windows.
