Sapphire Hotel Blackpool

I don't usually leave reviews but on this case . Stay away from sapphire hotel. It looks nothing like photos rooms dirty paper peeling blinds hanging of . They didn't leave towel in my friend room he asked them was told to pay £7 deposit . Outdoor seating is filthy they drag anyone of streets to go in there bar . Smells weed outdoor seating . Floor just covered in cigarette buts whole weekend . 2nd day it was chips thrown everywhere . Poor filth expedia need to update it or get sapphire of there site . Big con for what I paid words cannot describe it so much filth everywhere . So called dressing table covered in tea stains . I f you had allergys or asthma you suffer dust and dirt all round skirting boards and dado rail shocking it never been cleaned I'm surprised e.h.o have not shut it down locals say they just get fined and pay it and carry on I'm trying get a refund

I mentioned late check in due to traveling and when i arrived no one was there to check me in so I paid money for somewhere I couldn’t check in to

As a disabled woman i was abused by another guest who then was arrested for assaulting another guest , was treated disgustingly by staff with no help , the room was dirty ,the window did not open the bed was to close to the door which made it virtually impossible to get passed as im on crutches and in a wheelchair, the taps in the bathroom are the wrong way round so when i used the cold tap i scolded my hands , there was water pouring through light fittings in the main bar area ,which was also millimeters away from live electrical sockets , as of this i decided to leave after one nights stay and was booked in for 4 nights at the cost of £107.10 . On leaving i requested a full refund to which i was giving a receipt to say it had been refunded and im still waiting for it 7 days later . When i am contacting the hotel directly they are being abusive rude and refusing to refund any money and telling me never to ring back. I advise everyone to avoid staying at this horrible hotel and im seeking legal advice, unhelpful, rude staff ,fire hazard, unclean ,Oh and itshousing people being paid for by housing benefits eg (DRUG ADDICTS OVER ALL DISGUSTING PLEASE EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THIS VILE HOTEL NOT WORTH ANYBODYS MONEY !!!)

Bed bugs, dirty and noisy, avoid, I wouldn’t stay here again if it was for free!

Worse place ever stay in

The room had a broken bedside table. The table with the kettle on had not been cleaned. The light above the mirror in the bathroom did not work and the wires were hanging out. The bathroom had not been cleaned.

My only positive for the stay was it’s in a good location and the bed was comfy other than that for the almost £80 for one night I spent the room itself was very poor. Minimal furniture with broken drawers, no plug sockets near the bed or within a reasonable location to plug anything in, including the lamp which was just sat on the floor in the corner. Broken toilet seat. Dirty carpet. No towels or toilet paper (we had to ask for it). The room looked nothing like the photos and was poorly maintained, possibly one of the worst we have stayed in (and we are not high maintenance, we have fairly low standards but this was below that). It’s a shame the standard was low as the location was great. Just glad we had only booked one night.

Not staffed at night, leading to very noisy parties occurring with lots of music and shouting.

First room we were given stank, they then told us they had recleaned the bathroom, went back to the room it still wasn’t good and the bathroom light didn’t work, eventually given another room which wasn’t much better. No drawers, wardrobe for clothes, not even a hook to hang our coats on!! There was no cord to adjust the blinds, so had to try and pull the slats closed. Loose teabags lying in a dish, not very hygienic. there were others at the desk complaining, one couple were in there adjoining Luxury Apartments and they said there room hadn’t been serviced it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests and still had all there rubbish. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. It’s the worst one I have been in.

For the price is a good hotel but is not family hotel there was no lift and we were placed at the 4th floor as family of 4 with a baby. The room was small the bunk bed was shaky there was no toilet paper at the bathroom no hot water and the whole stay was kind of terrible the manager was making out on the stairs with his girl and the day we left there was a fight as we seen blood everywhere in the lobby so yeah not the safest place for families with kids

Booked after watching You Tube vlogs but feel misled as room was not as expected and was very tired and dated. I can accept that money has been spent on some things, but needs money spent on rooms. Bed fairly comfortable but very low, almost as if legs had been removed from the bed frame, shower fittings loose and detached from wall, smoke alarm covered up and fire alarm went off three times in a week, twice after 1 in the morning, staff saying that steam from shower caused first incident, but guests opine that smoke from cigarettes (ordinary and cannabis) set off said alarms, no explanation for other two occasions.

The sapphire hotel Blackpool is dirty dated and in poor condition the double bed was broke the bunk beds where wobbly and unstable and the room was filthy and mould windows

I haven't checked in just because i was stuck in the traffic..and the hotel did not let me inn

The hotel was in the bar and look good from the outside but there was no parking and the hotel room it’s self was really bad mold growing up the walls and one of the room the ceiling was falling apart I wouldn’t stay here if you paid me the staff was lovely but the hotel it’s self was horrible avoid all cost I found another hotel straight away

The room need a refurb as wall paper ripped and the door handle hanging off and shower doors dirty

The place needs refurbishing. But for £24 a night I am not complaining. Very friendly staff. I only used it for one night whilst in Blackpool for an event.

Very Basic and does need a good clean. The main thing is that the beds were comfy and clean bedding. So for a cheep hotel night you can expect to get what you pay for.

Was a little apprehensive after reafing some reviews. Arrived and was greeted by a lovely guy, very pleasant friendly and helpful. Room was clean and warm, bedding and towels were spotless. Not the Hylton but what can you expect for such a cheap stay.? Would definitely stay again.
