Seaside Hotel

Do not use this place its dirty and has bed bugs inside .sink in room had 3 cracks and no plug windows were so dirty couldn't look out of them filthy.shared toilet was also disgusting.wouldnt recommend at all

The hotel looks scruffy from the outside - but apart from being a bit dated on the inside, is perfectly fine for the cost, especially during a busy Brighton weekend. Located very central.

Was horrified at the external state of building. Couldn’t get access to the building, there were building works going on alongside so I left and found somewhere decent to stay.

Apart from spending 10 mins on buzzer and then being spoken to by tannoy and struggle to get key from keysafe then get to room with no tv,no tea making facilties and just one uncomfortable bed,one light and one Waldrobe . Terrible value for £77

Not the best

As i turned up at the property i was put off instantly as it looked run down, there was no one at the reception i called the hotel no a few times but it just rang and then cut off. The room was basic it had a kettle no cups or anything to make a drink with not even a sink to get anw water. The mattress was thin as you turned over in bed the springs cruched as you turn. The shared bathroom was so small a large person (not being disrespectful to anyone) would find it hard to use the toilet, the bath/shower was also small in width when you stand in it you touched the wall and shower curtain, the bracket which holds the shower was brocken so you have to hold it with one hand and try to wash yourself. There was brocken tiles under the sink which was of putting.

The rooms weren’t liveable, stains on sheets, no hot water, dirty carpet and windows were making a howling sound due to there condition we left after one night! Would never recommend

Filthy run down and disgusting. The bed smelled like it had been slept in a few times. Didn't stay. Left hotel at 4am and waited at the train station for the first train.

Scruffy and unkempt with basic to very poor standard amenities, fixtures and fittings. None of the plug sockets or bedside lamp, in our room no.37, were working. Table leg was broken, door lock wasn't secured properly to the room door. Even the front entry door to the hotel wasn't securely fixed, despite the keypad lock which was very tricky to use during the gale force winds and rain of the evening of our arrival.

I want a refund. We had a rude member of staff check us in and there's no staff thereafter 5pm?!? The room is nothing like the photos,I've had student bedrooms in better condition. We left after 5 minutes, we had multiple night stay booked. Can someone contact me about a refund please.

The room was a disgrace, bed bugs, holes in the wall, blinds didn’t work, the communal shower/toilet was dirty with faeces on the toilet seat and the shower door, didn’t feel safe at all, for the amount of money I paid I would have expected a higher standard than that! I ended up having to spend even more money to stay somewhere else! I had my daughter with me, she was scared and felt unsafe! DO NOT EVER STAY HERE, waste of money and doubt they will even refund the money I spent on that hovel!

Massive gap In the window and no heating so was freezing cold in the room!

The room felt neglected, the window leaked all through the night and left half th bed damp, the smoke detector was held up by double sided tape and crashed into the door during the night, Staff were inattentive and unbothered and hardly on hand, I'm currently trying to get a refund.

Basic but good enough just to sleep

Room was clean. But no mirrors, only one pillow each. Windows didnt fully shut, floors creaked and was uneven. Shower was broken and took a very long time to heat up. Recpetion area looked liked it has been tidied in years. It really needs a lick of paint and new carpet as first impression count for alot. The location is great but its near all the night clubs and bars so is noisy at night. If you can look beyond all that its cheap place to stay and is very central.
