St Martins Lane London, a Morgans Originals hotel

We stayed here 3 years ago for our wedding, we took around 20 rooms for 3 days and us and 40 guests and had our pre-wedding party in the bar downstairs we all had a great time and we came back for our anniversary but unfortunately it was all very disappointing. We were only here for one night so asked if it was possible to check in at 1 instead of 3 and did receive a response to say they would try their best but arrived and room wasn’t ready, kept saying 30 minutes but ended up being after 3, no offer of a water or anything whilst we waited, it was very hot and I’m heavily pregnant. The hotel staff were nothing like 3 years ago, just really unhelpful, we asked if they could park our car as this is a service they offer and we were told to park it ourselves in the car park which we did. Room cost was just under £300, but room was very average, stained carpets, small double bed, the main light in the room didn’t work and the TV sound kept cutting out. Bottled water wasn’t replaced, just really didn’t feel like they were bothered. It’s almost like as we spent over £20k last time so were treated really well and on return there was no customer relations. We won’t stay again here as lots of lovely hotels in London in the same price range. The location is great, you can’t really beat it but there several other hotels all in the same location which are better.

Loved the location and that despite being on a low level room we did not hear a lot of noise from outside. Staff was very nice and friendly, loved the welcome basket of fruit we were given. The rooms just seem a bit dated. The bathroom was great - instant hot water in the shower was a major plus! And the hotel room was extremely clean. All in all a great stay.

This property was in an excellent location. It was within close walking distance of three underground stations, Charing Cross, Embankment, and Piccadilly Circus. Within view of Trafalgar Square. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Plush towels, and storage. We could hear our neighbors, but the comfortable beds made up for that. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. I would love to stay here again!

Le personnel est vraiment super. L’hôtel aurait besoin d’un relooking (semble mieux sur les photos qu’en vrai). Tapis et déco datent de plusieurs années. Très propre et possède tous les services attendus. Le buffet est top et les cafés fait par un barrista

I highly recommend this hotel! The location was great, the cafe was adorable, and all the staff were friendly. I had the superior standard room, which was quite small, so I can imagine what the regular standard room looks like. Overall, I’m pleased with my choice of hotel in London.

Simply the best location and the friendliest staff. The hotel has a fun whimsical design and the rooms are clean and well laid out.

J'ai booké un loft avec 2 lits doubles et on m'a donné une chambre "deluxe" avec 1 lit double et 1 petit lit! Je n'ai pas payé pour ça!!!

rooms are small, shower is great, breakfast is not good, location amazing … staff excellent …. not 5 star , more like a 4 star 8.5 rating from me …. we had to move hotels.
