Very clean and comfortable room, people were very friendly and welcoming, the food was good too! Definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

Lovely location in a charming village, close to Castle Combe. We had a drink in the bar and dinner in the restaurant, both of which were great. The bed & pillows were excellent, and the host quickly supplied the top sheet we asked for. Fast wifi ticked the box. A little milk for tea or coffee would have been good, also the shower gel container was empty, but we would have no reservations in recommending the Neeld Arms for a stay!

A really beautiful cottage pub with great features that set it apart from others. The room was lovely and airy, with fresh cold water available in the hallway. The bathroom was good too. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious; I would highly recommend it to anyone staying there.

Nice room,in a nice pub.
5pm check in seems a bit late compared to most places,
Only stayed one night, unfortunately the shower door in our room was faulty, it fell off at one point, hard to understand how such a defect was not noticed prior to our stay.
That said would stay there again.
A nice village pub.
Small car park, but street parking OK.

Beautiful, beautiful place! Like stepping back in time, yet all of the modern conveniences.
Fantastic staff, especially Kate, who made a wonderful breakfast, and has a heart of gold.
The head chef was rather rude and aggressive, but I overlooked that due to everyone else being just lovely.
I can’t wait to visit again!

This is such a delightful country pub. We loved everything about it - the location in a pretty and peaceful village, the decor, the ambiance, the quality of the food, our comfortable and cosy room and the friendly and welcoming staff.
It would rate as one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed.
We were in the smallest bedroom, which was quite compact but decorated so beautifully and had everything we needed. Really comfortable bed and quality bedding. Compact bathroom but lovely hot shower and large, high quality towels.
The pub is lively and popular - we can see why. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious.
The breakfast was good, with especially friendly service. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful.
An excellent stay - we’d highly recommend

Clean and comfortable room. Location very good in small village in north Wiltshire. Very quiet and convenient for touring the local area- Castle Combe, Bath, the Fosse Way etc. Food at the pub appeared freshly cooked, but not particularly to our tastes. Fairly standard menu. Our room was on the small side but perfectly adequate for a short stay. There was noise from the kitchen flue and at night there was the distant sound of the motorway a few miles away. The Tawny owls were louder though and we were delighted to hear them!
Grittleton village is very small and has no shops or other facilities, but that was fine for us. The area is beautiful in terms of the country side. We certainly be happy to return.

Our stay was great. We felt very welcome, and the staff were lovely. The bedroom was very comfortable with really good-quality cotton sheets and a super mattress.
Dinner was excellent and although the bar was busy with a local event the staff found us a quiet table to eat.
We certainly would love to visit again and would thoroughly recommend staying here.

What a spectacular stay! Beautiful, HUGE rooms with glorious en-suite bathrooms. The pub itself is charming and lively with fabulous food. The owner is so kind and attentive. Couldn’t say enough good things about this lovely Inn.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Neeld Arms and haven’t been able to stop talking about it. The rooms and amenities were very clean and cozy. Breakfast in the morning was incredibly delicious and the hospitality was very warm and attentive. The staff were wonderful. Definitely a highlight of our trip and would highly recommend!
