A perfect little place by the sea! The room was clean and cute and the beds very comfortable. Loved to wake up in the morning and sit on the balcony, also slept the windows open to hear the sea.
The restaurant downstairs closes at 10pm but there was no disturbance whatsoever even on the weekend, you could hardly even hear it to the room.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, they also got us a table in the restaurant even when there was a line outside. The restaurant also had very good vegan options, so we didn't even need to go find a place to eat in the evenings.
Loved having breakfast before the restaurant opened, watching the sea in the homely atmosphere.
Will definitely book again!
Our stay was fantastic the room was lovely and clean and the staff were amazing so helpful being on the seafront was a bonus we ate every night there the food was fantastic and well worth the money we have just come back from a lovely long weekend and already planning to go back there next year
Welcoming, hard working and professional staff.
W enjoyed a sea view room with a balcony. We were able to check in early and shown to the room. Local maps, guides and bus time tables were available. The bathroom was tiled top to toe and the shower excellent.
This is a good pub with accommodation above and good pub food. It is not The Ritz, nor does it pretend to be and offers a great location and reasonable prices.
The breakfast was substantial, although we would have preferred a few lighter offerings such as yoghurt and fruit and/or cereals, but that is just our personal taste.
Booking on the Hotels.Com site was a little confusing. The booking form had an Amex symbol and accepted the transaction. We then got a bounce back saying the payment had failed. On checking, they do not accept Amex. Not a problem, but it would have been nice to have been told this up front, so we could have used another card straight away. Maybe Hotels.Com could amend this.
