An excellent hotel. The room was really well appointed and spotless. Very well maintained with excellent supplies. The food & service in the restaurant was brilliant too!

I chose the twin room, which was compact, but there were nice chairs to sit on, everything was spotless and the shower room was spacious and very clean. The staff were all very kind and friendly.
Internet was good too.
Sat Nav got me to outside the hotel, but the tiny lane to the back of the hotel was difficult to see as I was onnmy own. On my third drive round the one way system I gave up and found a parking place and just walked.
The food was tasty and well presented.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and had a great time. Our room was lovely and very clean. The breakfast menu is varied plentiful and very good. Gillian and Karen are very friendly and helpful. Have to mention the desserts which we had one evening which were delicious.

Nice friendly staff, room was way too hot but you can’t help the weather. Clean but slightly tired and overpriced for what it was. Maybe we just picked an expensive night, not terrible but I wouldn’t stay there at that cost again. Breakfast was good.

This place is adorable! The staff was wonderful, friendly and informative. The food was fabulous, dinner and the included breakfast. Comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Would definitely recommend.

The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. They were also very efficient. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant and breakfast was also very good. Nice room and bathroom and lovely comfy bed. Stunning area and beautiful beaches.

Such a nice place to stay, we’ll definitely be back. The staff were so friendly, the food was great, and the room was lovely. It’s hard to ask for more from a hotel.
The parking area was small but we had no problem getting a space. It doesn’t have EV chargers but there are 4 by the beach which is a 2 minute walk away.
Our dog was so welcome there in the room and the dining room, he loved it too. My only tiny criticism is it’s not clear on this app which rooms are dog friendly and we had to do a last minute upgrade, so do speak to them before you get there.
All in all, we loved it and can’t wait to go again!

Absolute perfection, I cannot recommend the Whittling House highly enough on every aspect. Breakfast was of the highest standard with exemplary service with a smile. Set in a small friendly community this is an excellent hotel choice, give it a go you will not be disappointed

The hotel was lovely and the town of Alnmouth was very nice too , food in the restaurant was very nice with good service. The only downside was the smell from the kitchen made its way into our room from the vents outside our window.

Such a nice place to stay, we’ll definitely be back. The staff were so friendly, the food was great, and the room was lovely. It’s hard to ask for more from a hotel.
The parking area was small but we had no problem getting a space. It doesn’t have EV chargers but there are 4 by the beach which is a 2 minute walk away.
Our dog was so welcome there in the room and the dining room, he loved it too. My only tiny criticism is it’s not clear on this app which rooms are dog friendly and we had to do a last minute upgrade, so do speak to them before you get there.
All in all, we loved it and can’t wait to go again!
