Trivelles Park Hotel

1st Room was wery in need of basic maintenance, there were holes in the bed frame walls and toilet seat had no nuts attached to it, room was dirty and had no heating controls so was very hot all night and had to sleep with the window open, found a cockroach on the 2nd night and moved to a slightly better family room after inspecting all the available twin rooms still this room wasn't as clean as a hotel should be, bad smells in the corridor and general dirtyness everwhere, I've stayed in some grotty hotels before but this one was probably the worst on,

Easy parking, seems secure with cameras up. Quiet area too. Friendly and welcoming staff at the desk. Room was well equipped, although a bit odd in design (provided soap but no actual space to put soap on, so just left it lying in the sink). There were also some toothpaste marks on bathroom surfaces from previous guest, so cleanliness not the best, and the room in general was a little shabby but not offensive. Everything else seemed clean. I was so tired that when I got into bed and realised it was just a blanket inside a duvet cover and not an actual duvet, I just made do...but it was a cold night. I should have gone to reception, as found out later that a duvet was stored under the bed. But they should have just put the duvet on the bed to save this issue! The room had been heated before I arrived however, so some thoughtfulness by the staff - thank you! Overall reasonable enough if you need a quiet place to rest your head, but just check you have enough bedding!

The Hotel was easy to locate and room was comfy. Not properly cleaned to an excellent standard. No Rubbish Bin in the room, only 1 tiny one in the bathroom. Heating was good. Lighting was great. No clothes hangers in the room . Helpful Receptionist. WiFi could be better Overall, could be much better.

Utterly disgusting. Pictures speak a thousand words, but needless to say, I have never stayed in anywhere as filthy and run-down as this. Room smelled of cigarette smoke, and I have a cold at the moment, so it must be really strong. Signs in the room stated that the police would be called if caught smoking in the room… No cold running water, just the hot tap worked. Carpet filthy, and don’t know when it was last cleaned, I could feel things underfoot…looked like food in places. Lifted the sheet off the mattress only to find it covered in various stains. Kettle was coated with something filthy inside. Bedside drawers covered in cigarette burns and just filthy. Mould everywhere in the bathroom, damp coming through the ceiling, wallpaper peeling, what looked like bird mess on one of the blinds. Heard noises in the car park late last night, could see a lady with a baby in a pushchair waiting at the door. Thought nothing of it, until I heard a vehicle pull up just after 5am, people talking and repeated knocking on the front door…don’t know if this place is being used for emergency accommodation/halfway house or other, but I wouldn’t let an animal stay here, let alone anyone in a vulnerable situation. Should be inspected, and closed down until it is fit for human habitation.

Room ok - bathroom could do with some bleach esp really shower cubicle which was horrible

Dirty bathroom, roll together mattress and no remote for the TV. Room Smelled of mould. Left early the day after as we couldn't wait to leave.

Upon first viewing the hotel from the transport from the station, I instantly regretted my decision to book this hotel. Upon check in, the actual entry way was in a poor state with broken glass and paper adverts to try and cover the break over. Upon entering the room, the decor needed severe repairs, a bucket under the sink to catch the water from a leaking tap, the secondary bathroom light didn't work, mildew in the groutwork of the shower, the curtains and the privacy net were greasy due to not being cleaned in a very long time. Upon opening the wardrobe a used cotton bud tumbled out. Overall it was a very disgusting room.

Large groundfloor room. Large house with an interesting history. Very reasonable rate. Close free parking in the grounds. Friendly, helpful staff. However, perhaps there is a water pressure problem as I couldn't get hot water to flow fron the electric shower. Also, the grounds need attention as a bit overgrown in places.

“Absolutely disgusting – avoid at all costs!” This place was filthy, stained, and smelled horrible. I honestly cannot believe this is allowed to operate as a hotel in the UK in this day and age. The condition of the room was shocking – dirty carpets, stained bedding, and an overall terrible smell. This is not a standard – this is a disgrace. I wouldn’t let an animal stay here. It should honestly be shut down. Never again. I strongly warn others not to stay here – unless you enjoy a survival experience. Honestly, the forest would be cleaner and more comfortable, 100%.

Les chambres à l’exceptions des draps tout était sale. Les lampes de lecture étaient défectueuses. Le drain de l’évier était bloqué, quand on a voulu le débloquer il était rempli de papier. Il y avait des trous dans les cadrages de la salle de bain. La toilette était sale. Les tiroirs du bureau dans la chambre étaient plein d’objets et sales. Aucun cintres dans l’armoire. Le tour du bain avait de champignons. On a tue un insecte dans la nuit qu’on n’a pu identifier…..

The hotel part we stayed in was ok the grounds could do with tidying up parking was fine the chap on the desk was really good helped us find somewhere to get food it's a bit dated but clean and a comfy bed so all in all it was good

I read the reviews before booking and most said tired and old but I feel this hotel was more than tired. It was old and unkempt. On first driving in the brick wall is falling down, the garden uncut and brambles everywhere and the inner door had a smashed glass panel covered by a poster. The man at reception was nice,polite and welcoming. The pros were TV, fridge and comfy clean bed and clean towels and free WiFi. The negatives were unclean floor in bathroom and cupboards, very old shower and toilet. The base of the bed had scribble over it and some on wall. The light switches were all chrome look and covered in fingerprints. The bedside cabinets had laminate lifting off. Everything else just cobwebs and old in age...just needs a major overhaul. See photos. Not worth the money of the stay. Plus it's billed as 3 star. I'm not too sure about that?

Nice staff and helpful

Room was as expected. The front staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating.

AVOID!!! AVOID!!! It was nothing like the picture. the room was very dirty, like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in years. There was dust on the head board which looked like it had been there since 2007 a long with the rest of the room. The shower hadn’t been cleaned either with the room smelling weird. We was in the room for 10 minutes and left and had to book somewhere else to stay.

Whilst I agree with some of the reviews that the hotel is a little dated and could do with some updating, I was more than happy with my stay for the money. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room I was given was big, clean and very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were provided. As a lone female traveler I would have no issue with staying here again.

Very disappointing because no food; no amenities and place very shabby and run down.
