Grand Hotel Moderne

We absolutely loved our stay!! It was conveniently located with only a minute walk to the sanctuary of Lourdes. The food at the restaurant was fabulous and the staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful. We highly recommend and will stay there again in the future.

Must stay place for Lourdes! Steps to everything. Very comfortable stay. I wouldn't eat there as it is expensive and better surrounding restaurants. Will stay again!

This hotel was the perfect choice for my stay in Lourdes! It was close to the Sanctuary, the rooms were nice and convenient, and the staff went above and beyond to help us.

Mooi hotel goede ligging, schone kamers, hulpzaamnpersoneel. Alleen het ontbijtbuffet viel tegen.

This hotel has a very professional and helpful staff that go above and beyond to help. The room is clean and simple. I was here for a pilgrimage. Don’t expect the Ritz. There is no air conditioning. You get a good sized room with simple furniture and what you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable. What you are buying most of all is the location to the religious activities at Lourdes. It is an easy walk. The hotel’s restaurant has a good ambiance, the wait staff are attentive and the food is very good. I ate dinner there twice. I was content with the food. There are many shops including the one at the hotel, which offers a ten percent discount and a free candle for the candlelight procession at 9 pm.

お部屋のセーフティボツクスが故障していて、すぐお部屋を変更して頂きました。 そのお部屋は高層階のコーナーで、両サイドに大きな両開きの窓があり、 予約したお部屋よりラグジュアリーで素敵でした。実は、晩秋の欧州の長旅で 風邪をひいていたのですが、この快適なお部屋で、ルルドの泉で風邪薬を飲みながら 1日中（3日の滞在の真ん中の日）寝ていました。 おかげですつかり元気になり、翌日、早朝のマサビエルの洞窟のミサにあずかり、 パリにむかいました。 フランス語がうまくない１人旅の外国人の私に、辛抱強くお話しを聞いてくれて、 親切に接客して頂いたことを本当に感謝しています。 あと、お料理がとても美味しかつたです。栄養がある美味しいお料理も つらい風邪が1日で治つた理由の１つだと思います。　　 このホテルは、マサビエルの洞窟に隣接しています。（徒歩3～5分） 何度でもルルドの泉をくみにいけます。　　レイジーみいみ

The Hotel Moderne exceeded my expectations, and you can’t beat the location! The hotel itself is beautiful and grand, and the room was very large and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed and more. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. I had dinner one night at the hotel restaurant, and it was an excellent experience with friendly, attentive service and delicious food. I actually wish I would have had planned to have more of my meals here. The location is very close to the Basilica, grotto, etc. which is so convenient, especially after the late torchlight procession (perfect for solo travelers!). I felt safe walking back with many other pilgrims walking that direction, too. The front desk staff was so helpful for everything I needed, including understanding the schedule of events at the Sanctuary and navigating a shuttle/bus to the local airport. I would highly recommend The Hotel Moderne and hope to visit again next time I visit Lourdes.

Perfect location. Beautiful building. Friendly and attentive staff

Staff was great especially the night auditor who was very kind after my train arrived two hour late from Paris (12:05AM). Not only did I have breakfast, but came back for lunch. Both meals were terrific!!! Front desk called me a taxi because I was having issues getting a ride service car…five star Plus + raining.

The hotel is a bit tired but beautiful. It appears to be the best place to stay in Lourdes. We had all of our meals at the restaurant. The food and service were top notch.

The hotel is in excellent location and very near the Basilica. We enjoyed our stay very much and the property is very beautiful.
