Lovely stay, friendly staff and beautiful property

Hotellet ligger i ett område utan närhet till någon trevlig restaurang. Ligger två st inom 500 meter som är väldigt enkla. Hotellet erbjuder enbart frukost som var under all kritik större delen av vår vecka där. Fanns lite att välja på och det som fanns var oftast slut. Tog lång tid att fylla på om det ens fylldes på. Blev lite bättre de sista morgnarna för oss efter att vi klagat. De flesta i personalen har en nonchalant attityd mot sina gäster och mycket går ut på att tjäna så mycket som möjligt på varje sak. Bland annat behövs en deposition på 50 EUR per natt. Erbjöd lite snacks att köpa till poolen men det var ingen servicepersonal på plats som gick runt poolen och frågade om man ville köpa något. Man fick själv leta efter personal. Poolområdet var fräscht men det var brist på parasoll som alla ville ha i den kraftiga värmen. Fanns bara 3 st varav en var trasig. Vi nekades att låna en vinöppnare och glas till rummet då ville ta ett glas vin innan middag på stan. Har ej varit med om det på andra hotell runtom i världen. Vi hade en vecka bokad vilket jag inte rekommenderar med tanke på läge, utbud i omgivningarna, personalens attityd och hotellets faciliteter.

Our stay at Hôtel Château de la Tour was nothing short of excellent. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience. Their flexibility and willingness to help with any request really stood out.

Hotellet har et stort uudnyttet potentiale. Utrolig smuk bygning, men der mangler lige det sidste mht. indretning samt en generel renovering. Personalet er venligt, men der bliver ikke spurgt om man mangler noget, man skal selv henvende sig. Morgenmaden er meget sparsom /kedelig og igen - man skal bede om ting, som åbentbart er inkluderet- det har de bare ikke informeret om. Da vi bestilte, sagde hjemmesiden at der var restaurant på hotellet- det er der ikke! Men der kan købes lette anretninger ved poolen om dagen. Hotellet er lige genstartet efter halvandet års pause og personalet er nyt. Det bærer det noget præg af.

Wasn’t my expectation

Our initial room on arrival was larger than our subsequent room, which we moved from because it was on the ground floor next to the toilets, and had a broken safe that continually beeped. However, fortunately they were able to move us the next day. Fantastic pool area and seating. The rooms and decor are a bit dated and quirky, but I suspect that's part of the charm. A little outside Cannes if that's what you want, but maybe that's a good thing.

Beautiful property in a quiet location but still close to town. Staff were very polite and professional, and always welcoming. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Pool area is lovely. If I had to say anything negative it would be that there isn’t a restaurant onsite for lunch or dinner.

We had a lovely time, the hotel and bedrooms were clean. Staff were very helpful and willing to help. The pool area was excellent. The air conditioning throughout the hotel was excellent. We had chosen a garden view, which was a room on ground floor, to be honest it was mainly a carpark view. We decided to go to breakfast the first morning, the restaurant was lovely but unfortunately, even though breakfast was served to 10.30am, at 9.50am there was very little food left. This could have been a one off, we did not go back to find out. The location is excellent for Cannes and easily accessed by a numer 1 or 2 bus. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will be back.

La nourriture n'est pas permis dans les chambres. Avec pas de restaurants proche, c'est difficile est pas pratique.

Un havre de paix pour se reposer et se détendre

Deuxième expérience dans cette hôtel très charmant pour passer quelques jours sur Cannes, bien situé pas loin en voiture du centre-ville et au calme. Une grosse déception qu’il y ait pas plus entretien au niveau de l’espace piscine ( plus de propreté) et moins un laisser aller , vraiment dommage car c’est un point facile à remédier . Petit point négatif au niveau des chambres un manque de prise électrique.

Magnifique lieu ! Personnel agréable, endroit calme, bon petit déjeuner, à 5 minutes à pied de la plage.

Les chambres étaient très propres, et vraiment dans l'esprit château. Très bien pour passer une nuit.

Great views

My 2 adult children stayed in a lovely room with a terrace and two beds (kind of a suits) that I think would work well for a family with a younger kid or even a teen. My husband and I stayed in a separate double room that did not have a terrace but that had a lovely view of the water. The pool was lovely and lightly used; very peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was fine- the service was good. It’s basically a lovely boutique style hotel, about a ten minute walk down a slightly steep hill to the beach. No restaurant open when we were there, but lovely helpful staff and clean, lovely rooms. The place has character and does not have that institutional feel of a corporate hotel. We walked to some good restaurants nearby that were not that expensive- Dar Mama was fun. Also you can walk to the touristy heart of Cannes in about 30 minutes- or take a bus. I would return.

Le lieu est sublime et tout le personnel d une gentillesse rare. J ai adoré sejourner dans cet hotel et j y reviendrai.
