Hôtel Villa Margaux

Zimmer war Schmutzig.. Badewanne und Waschbecken haben geschimmelt.. schmutzige Handtücher, Bettwäsche mit Lippenstift Flecken.. Frühstück im Keller war nix besonderes.. Die Lage in einem nicht empfehlenswertem Viertel.. Im großen und ganzen war die Unterkunft ein Horror, würde ich nie wieder besuchen und auch nicht weiterempfehlen!!!

This was the worst hotel we’ve stayed at in decades. Our room was tiny. Shower stall not for an adult, 2’x2’. A/C was not working. Nothing like the pics in Expedia. That night we were given another room on the ground floor. The rumble of the Paris metro was heard every minute under us. The breakfast area was right next door so very noisy early morning. Late night reception guys had friends visit them, loud tv, talking and partying in the reception area made sleeping impossible. The patio was by our room so all the cigarette smoke entered our room. We could not sleep. We were told hotel was full and no other rooms. This room was obviously for staff or emergencies as it was in no shape for a paying guest. The safe had no lock!! The shower plumbing was leaking and we could not take a decent shower. The wood floors creaked. The A/C stopped working last night. They gave us a fan. No window to open. The floors and walls were wet from humidity. Room temp reached 28C. Walls were cracked. Black mold everywhere. Contacted Expedia for a refund. The positive reviews are either bots or Motel 6 people that have never travelled before. Avoid this hotel!!

The outlets were not easy to reach out

Small room but adequate for our needs. Great location - nearest metro station 5 mins away. Only 20mins walk from Gare du Nord. Lots of little restaurants on the same street so spoilt for choice for our evening meal. Ensuite shower and toilet. Continental and cooked breakfast included. Comparable to a 3star bed and breakfast in London.

Very small room and very small bathroom. I asked for 2 separate beds but only one double bed was provided.

My mother and I stayed at the hotel for six nights and had a very pleasant experience. The staff are helpful, polite, and proactive. One of them even speaks Portuguese, which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast is quite complete, with delicious warm croissants. The location is excellent, close to two metro stations that provide easy access to all the main tourist attractions in Paris. We highly recommend it!

Funcionários prestativos, ótima localização (perto de mercados, restaurantes/café), muito próximo ao metrô e fácil acesso aos pontos turísticos de Montmartre. Além disso, há uma máquina de café expresso que pode ser usada gratuitamente e sempre havia alguns croissants de graça também. As camas e travesseiros eram razoáveis e o banheiro era bom. Serviço de limpeza de quarto diário.

Staff in reception was good. But breakfast wasn't, only one person to serve, he couldn't speak one word in English. Had to wait more than 10 minutes every morning, to get a glass for juice or eggs. And room was too small to host that may people for breakfast. In the bathroom there were mould. Location was good though, lots of bars and cafes in the neighborhood.

There were some inconsistencies in what the website said and reality. The website said there was computer availability for guest use, reception said there was none. The website says the airport taxi ride from hotel was 18€ per person for 2 people but I was quoted 65€ from reception. Housekeeping did not provide replacement toilet paper when we were out during daily cleaning and short sheeted our bed. In spite of these inconsistencies the location was near metro, Montmartre and so many activities. There were always croissants in the lounge and there was someone at reception 24/7.

This has been the worst and dirties hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Please save your money and look at other options.
