Hotel ROMY by AMANO

The room was clean and modern with a comfortable bed, and the staff were friendly. My only complaint is that I needed a to-go container to take breakfast with me as I started out early every day to maximize my time in Berlin but all they had were large paper bags so all I got for my paid breakfasts were croissants & coffee. I would only recommend paying for breakfast if you have the time. Other than that, it’s a nice hotel.

Customer Service had to be reached by Ipad to receive an extra pillow. Everythung was grwatEverService

Great location near to the main train station and walkable to the main attractions.

Colors made the room very dark and the lighting was insufficient. Room layout was poor for two people. Room was quiet and the bed comfortable. Location worked well for us to get around the city.

Very trendy hotel for a good price right next door to the station. So many great options for food right by the hotel made it so convenient. The area is super busy, but the hotel was well insulated and it never bugged me while in my room. The breakfast was really great.

Across from train station, so perfect for early morning departure. A train goes from there direct to airport. Check in was effortless. The room was clean and had a lovely view. The area is extremely walkable.for all tourist needs. There is lots of food nearby. The air conditioner was nice, and the bathroom amenties smelled nice. Will definitely stay here again.

Very conveniently situation across from Berlin's central station, it is easy get to the hotel. My check-in was done by friendly members of the staff. I was very pleased with the room, as a single traveler. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Bathroom of an OK size, and the shower was fairly large. The breakfast was good, with a good food selection and friendly staff. I really liked the opportunity to squeez my own fresh orange juice.

一人で一泊しました。夜は、出かけ無かったが、案外周囲は治安が良かったです。少し散歩にブランデンブルク門って感じでした。駅からのアクセスもよく、地下鉄乗り場からベルリン中央駅につながってるので、便利でした。トイレとシャワーが別なのも良かったです。水圧、お湯も問題なし、ただ、自分の部屋は、シャワー室のパッキングが悪く、外に水がもれてました。それで木製の床がめくりあがり、場合によっては危険かもわかりません。ビュッフェ形式朝食もけっこう楽しめました。概して、駅近くで使い勝手のよいきれいなホテルと思います。

Great location, nice breakfast, very new and nice design

Extremely convenient to Berlin Main terminal. A few homeless lived on or near the property.

Electronic key was convenient- until I realised they still use that silly interlock to switch on electricity only with a physical card. Honestly!

Clare the receptionist was so helpful. Very handy to the central train station and other transport services

Location is very convenient right across street from Main Berlin Central station, as location is good, its not quiet, nice neighbor, staffs are nice and included breakfast was nice

Perfect location across the main station (so, no noise! But close enough). Close to taxis, tram and subway too. Good breakfast. Amazing front desk staff. Would stay there again.

Hotellet låg väldigt nära tågstationen vilket var ett perfekt utgångsläge för vår vistelse. Därifrån kunde man ta sig överallt.

Perfect for 1 night stay in Berlin. Near the station with other sights all within walking distance.

The hotel is really clean and all basic amenities were available. The only thing that I did not appreciate is the staff. When we arrived, we tried to open the door and it was tightly shut and the glass was tinted so we cannot see inside, we got confused and thought it was probably not the main door so we looked around then some guests came out of the door so we grabbed that chance and entered. Once we entered, one staff member (not a front desk staff but looks like a manager or something) lectured us in a mean way (like we were idiots) that there was a button on the side of the wall to press to open the door. Unfortunately, we did not see it because it was located low and our luggage covered it. We also realized that she can actually see us from outside and did not even bother to help us open that door but instead felt the need to lecture us like we are idiots for not knowing there was a button which was black, same color as the wall and located almost knee level (like who would think a button would be there). So that soured our experience and out of all the hotels we've went to in Europe this year (8hotels in total) this was the only hotel with rude staff member. She needs training on customer service.
