Tills Beach Hotel

The staff was very friendly and courthouse , But the property was dated ,not well maintained ,\Lack of hot water for shower was kinda a downer . Bed was hard and uncomfortable

The whole place (“resort”) is a construction site ! And I had contact with them several times on WhatsApp, 2 months until a few days before our stay and still they totally failed to mention this even when they know we had a child with us! We had to move to another place after one night (booked and payed for 5 in advanced, never doing that again) since it definitely not safe for a child to be living in a construction site. Woke up before the baby because of the noisy work going on. Also, the suite is just a regular room, but worth it at all. The view was a pit, a pile of dirt, a half finished building blocking the sea and cement mixer. No toiletries is included. Also failed to pay with card (several attempts during a whole day, 4 different cards but their POS didn’t work) so if you go there bring a load of cash. Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. No garden - just construction. If you (like us) is looking for a stress free place to relax, don’t go here. So disappointed with the management who failed to tell us about the major ongoing construction, they should not be open for guests at all at the moment.

The property is under construction and they fail to let us know in advance before we book the so called executive suite? Our room was just a regular room and nothing executive suite about it. The shower door could not close all the way, so the bathroom floor get wet each time we take shower? We told them about it and nothing was done about it. This is completely unacceptable.

Nachdem ich als 16jährige das erste Mal hier war, war ich nach fast zwanzig Jahren dieses Mal mit meiner Familie in Till's Beach Resort und es war immer noch so schön wie in meiner Erinnerung. Das Restaurant/Strandbar ist nun direkt am Strand und bietet von deutschen bis ghanaischen Speisen gutes Essen an, das man als Europäer bedenklos genießen kann. Die Zimmer sind mit Ventilator und Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Das Personal ist immer ansprechbar und überwiegend sehr freundlich. Im Vergleich zu anderen Stränden in Ghana ist der Strand sehr sauber, weil das Personal regelmäßig Plastikmüll der angeschwemmt wird aufsammelt und entsorgt. Besonders erwähnenswert ist, dass man hier wirklich ausspannen kann, weil es ein ruhiges Plätzchen ist und man sich darauf verlassen kann, dass alles so ist, wie auf Bildern oder Beschreibungen angezeigt. Alles in Allem sehr zu empfehlen, insbesondere wenn man ein Fan von Urlauben ist die nichts mit dem Massentourismus in anderen Ländern zu tun haben.

Family friendly resort with a laid back vibe. Excellent for surfers and the sea is safe for swimming with life guards on standby. The rooms are basic, but clean and have ac and ceiling fans. The beach bar offers a wide selection of drinks and an excellent menu for all tastes. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Amazing place and friendly staff. Don't expect the luxury treatment, yet the area and staff will make you feel just like home! Desmond the property manager was always around to make sure our stay was pleasant. Expect a genuine stay near the ocean, with a calm surrounding and beautiful nature. Recommended 👍❤

Personal didn’t speak English and which made the communication difficult. There was no WiFi although it said so in the description. The water was not running and shower was broke. The room itself was okay though and the beach is beautiful. Rather recommend coming here foe a day trip though, as there’s not much more to do in that area

breakfast is good, for lunch and dinner they prepare great fish Staff is not fast enough, the room has no TV though it was mentioned on Expedia during the booking

Seren atmosphere with geat staff. Beach was very vlean. Rooms fo mpt however have television. There were ants and other insects i do not know in the room.

Just a great place to be... to enjoy, to relax and to be in one of the nicest place around the world. Good food, good life

Do not bring expectations of perfection and you can really enjoy a stay here. The hotel is simple but very clean, and the infrastructure is dated and not always in the greatest repair (don't expect to play on the mini golf course or find the pieces for the chess or checker boards), but we found service helpful and friendly and the setting mostly idyllic (though the ocean here is quite full of plastic trash at some hours). Order food with the expectation that it will take about an hour to prepare. Know that at times the beach is sadly the repository of plastic bags, bottles and other trash carried in by the waves, but the staff does try to keep the sands clean. What we found quaint and charming, those who demand perfection to a Western European or U.S. standard may find insufficient and disappointing. If you're willing to give it time, though (like ordering food early and getting your air conditioning running with plenty of time for it to cool the room before you sleep), you can enjoy a peaceful, quiet time at the seaside.

I love this place. We used to stay here all the time but then the prices doubled. We decided to return because a friend is on his way out of the country and we wanted to celebrate all the good times we had there. We paid the extra money with hopes that there had been improvements. Unfortunately there have not been any improvements. There was no running water for most of the first day- which makes it difficult to change dirty diapers and wash hands. The toilets don't flush even when there is running water. I don't have a problem using a bucket to flush a toilet if the price is right, but not for the price I paid. The food is AMAZING but again EXTREMELY over priced. I really do love the place- it has a lot of potential and is a great location if they reduced the prices. There are chairs and a bar on the beach. You can enjoy your dinner while listening to the waves.
