Hotel Cokkinis

Das Hotel direkt am Meer ist super geeignet für einen Zwischenstopp, das leckere Essen im Restaurant ist gleich am Meer einzunehmen und auch beim wirklich guten Frühstück schaut man aus dem Frühstücksraum aufs Wasser. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht um uns gewesen, Badetücher für den Strand gab es in der Rezeption genau wie freien Zugang zu Liegen und Schirmen an Steinstrand, wo sogar Getränke angeboten wurden. Wir sind zum zweiten Mal und vermutlich wieder! Empfehlen tun wir das kleine Hotel auf alle Fälle.

I’ve been staying at Hotel Cokkinis every so often for more than 20 years. It’s a great resting point between Athens and the Peloponnesus. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. Bar and restaurant stays open late and there’s also a beach for sunbathing and swimming. Look out for the giant tortoise ! I’m always happy to return here.

This was our third time at Cokkinis hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the front rooms have a magnificent view of the seas from the balcony. Due to road works the approach to the hotel from Athens was closed, but the hotel sent us clear alternate instructions a few days before arrival. Great service! The restaurant overlooking the sea is excellent as are the staff. Good breakfast too. Highly recommended and only an hour from the airport !

Wishing having received more information upon check-in, anyway location is great, I recommend having dinner on the terrace. Breakfast is not worthy the price but there is nothing nearby.

Very friendly and helpful staff. A small but interesting menu but one that is cooked to Oder rather than dragged out of the freezer so be patient. Excellent location to eat indoors or out and they serve food until 2300. Breakfast is a bit late for my take at 0800 but can be arranged for 0700 at a cost.

Ne pas se fier aux apparences. Bien que les parties communes soient très jolies, mais très petites, les chambres ne valent absolument pas le prix payé. Il y a un accès à une plage, mais qui n’est pas privée, c’est une vulgaire plage de galets. Il y a en hauteur des transats, mais rien sur la page. La chambre est dépourvue de toute décoration, l’état est franchement moyen vu le prix payé pour le pays. Salle de bain minuscule. Je suis en plus véritablement choqué que l’on m’ai demandé de payer 20 € de plus pour mon fils qui a dormi dans notre lit et n’a pas eu de serviette supplémentaire. Du vol

Stayed 1 night at the end of our Peloponnese road trip Had a great afternoon relaxing on the beach and at the bar Dinner at the restaurant and breakfast in the morning were great The View is amazing Would definitely recommend this hotel

Lovely place with a great staff. Parking is a challenge! The food was.4/5. We are vegan and they’re not many options especially for breakfast.

We had a wonderful and truly relaxing stay at the hotel! The staff were helpful and welcoming, and our room offered a stunning sea view. Breakfast was fresh and nutritious. The sea itself was crystal clear and an absolute joy not only to swim in, but simply to gaze at. The location is beautiful and peaceful, a perfect spot to unwind away from noise and crowds. Overall, it was such a lovely getaway, a chance to forget the world for a while, enjoy the turquoise waters, and be reminded of the beauty and power of nature.

The Food and Location was great. Service was OK, but THE WORST COFFEE ever. The coffee is so bad that most tables ordered coffee from the bar at 5EU a coffee! First it is warm NOT HOT, they make it then unplug it and put it out so at best it is warm. Second, Whatever they are using for coffee is undrinkable. I am completely happy with instant coffee, and would have loved that over what they serve.(That is in fact what we did) Other note it is about 50 steep steps down to beach, just so you are aware.

A peaceful stay with a few areas for improvement We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. One of the highlights was the dining and bar area located just above the sea — a beautiful spot with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff there were especially friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The sea was absolutely stunning — crystal clear and perfect for swimming. However, one major downside is the lack of a shower near the beach. After swimming, you’re left salty for the rest of the day, which is quite uncomfortable. This really needs to be addressed. The rooms were decent and clean, though a touch of modernization wouldn’t hurt. Another odd point: beach towels are only changed every three days, which feels a bit inconvenient, especially with no beach shower available. The hotel staff overall were helpful and polite. Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 10:00, but it would be great if it could be extended at least until 10:30 or even 11:00 for a more relaxed morning. Despite these small issues, we left feeling very satisfied. The overall vibe was peaceful and calm. With a few improvements, this place could offer an even more seamless experience. Thank you!
