Berry Hills Resort

Nice Location. I stayed for 2 days and had wonderful experience with respect to room service and Restaurant. Travel to the resort in the rocky road is not that great. Would recommend this Resort only if the roads are laid.

Nice resort on top of the hill, only 4x4 vehicle can go up and its a adventures experience for newbie trekking lovers. Hotel service is good, to be specific quality of food is excellent kudos to the chef. Few draw backs are there like there is no heater in the room during winter season so its difficult to get acclimatize to weather in initial few hours and hot water service is limited, overall pleasing value for money and friendly hotel staffs especially manager Shankar. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Their website does not say that you need a 4x4 to drive 500 metres to access the hotel through a dirt road. No wifi, except at reception area. No air conditioning or heater. Bathroom has no shower screen or soap holder. Bed linnen is dirty and bed is uncomfortable. Tv does not work at all. Open the curtains and you'll have no privacy. It is very hard to find the hotel. We asked many locals but with no success. We had to ring the hotel and then they sent a 4x4 at a designated place to escort us. I booked this hotel for two nights but survived only the first night. I cannot understand how Expedia accepted to put such a hotel on their website. Do not set your foot there.

Excellent Superior room and good responsive staff. Room with great view of the city. Transportation is taken care by the management any time needed. Overall it was a pleasant stay away from city life.

This property is located on top of a steep hill and is accessible only via a narrow muddy path. We were in an SUV that kept scrapping on the rocky sides as we were avoiding the steep valley on the other side. The description said : balcony, coffee maker, blah blah... Nothing but four walls and a bed was available. The restaurant too operates minimal fixed hours... So, if you are hungry, you stay hungry as you can't drive out to the city or order food. You can't even walk out as the road is very slushy and slippery. Total waste of money, time and effort.

Hotel kitchen staff were very rude and no action taken even after complaints to management. Very bad food, we had bad stomach after having food here. Not worth staying here.

During two nights stay at Berry Hills, I found services not upto the mark including room service & hotel staff Courtsey especially F&B services. Also this being an off-route location, you are charged for everything as it is sought from town and it is really difficult to access the city in absence of your own vehicle.

Beautiful location of resort, can't find any other beautiful location as berry hills. Good service. Pickup & drop off facilities available...

Hotel stay was good.it is away from crowd. Hotel ambience and interiors were good.we need to climb small hill to reach the hotel. I was scary when I take up the route for first time.own vehicle or cab is desperate required.hotel location provides the natural view only when you book for superior class . Food is too expensive.

Nested in the foothill of Doddabetta, Berry Hill is a perfect retreat. The staffs is caring and efficient, chefs' culinary skills are more than satisfactory. The weather is extremely pleasant, excellent view of Nilgiris add to the mystique. Stay at Berry Hills would definitely turn out to be one of the most memorable stays.

The room was amazing on a standalone basis, town view and food were good, but considering the other amenities it scores an Average rating. Location is remote, so own vehicle is mandatory. It was termed as a luxury resort, but getting hot water is a luxury, keep calling them, if you need it before/after the their fixed timings. I was in the Ground Floor, there was a gap between the door and the floor, so cold air blows into the room. They charge you extra for Heater.

very much satisfied for all the service, the staff and the hotel offered to us. getting upto the top of hill to this location through narrow roads will definately surprise. we had a pleasant stay, food was very good, clean rooms, very friendly obedient staff, nice location away from crowd

It is on very remote place, not avilable any vehicle to go outside. And if call any cab, then too high price.

Road to reach hotel is Dangerous, accident may happen any time, food is costly compare to hotel standard and once you reach hotel..difficult to come out

Way in and out road from main road is simply bad. Overall liked the location and enjoyed my stay.
