Bhoomivilas

Booked this hotel as it was near the Taj Mahal and had a restaurant, roof top bar and pool. Booked for family of four over Xmas period. On arrival staff were polite but appeared at a loss that they had guest booking in. We quickly found out that the restaurant was not in working order and the pool and roof bar were also not usable. The hotel was unclean and appeared to be still in construction with boarding still up blocking doorways. We had two rooms, both freezing cold and no heaters. Both rooms were not clean and there was torn bedding. One of the rooms had exposed wiring where a light switch would be and you could only turn the lights on and off from outside the room. The second room had no way of locking the door and leaving it secure. No safe in the rooms Mould found growing in one of the rooms On looking out of our window you looked out onto a building site and there was dried plaster stuck to the outside of the window. None of the photos advertised by the hotel on Expedia or Trip Advisor reflected what we found in the hotel. We stayed around 45 minutes before we booked another hotel and walked out. On the plus side the staff were polite, but this did not make up for the fact that the hotel was still under construction and in my opinion both dirty and unsafe. Please anyone looking at this hotel avoid at all costs.

Location is brilliant however... No hot water, Wifi didnt reach room, powerpoints not working, TV didnt work. Roof top pool under repair. It looks like a very big work in progress. The place is very old but poor quality cheap cosmetic attempts to make it look better actually made it look worse. The fridge and AC did work and the toilet flushed.. Id rather pay a few bucks more elsewhere.

They turned down my reservation due to full bookings even though I got the confirmation from you.
