Eros Boutique Hotel

Had a good stay. Staff was good. Swimming pool was quite small but we'll maintained.

Such a hovel i paid for a different hotel rather than stay. Management refused to refund any of the 11 nights x 2 rooms we didn't use, and basically said i was making excuses to leave (because losing half a days holiday and 84,000 rupees for a replacement is exactly what i saved up for 6 months to do). Claimed to have offered alternative rooms, when the staff member we spoke to said they couldn't as they were full. Expedia failed to resolve this matter also. First time I've ever refused to stay in a hotel, and with good reason. Nothing like the photos on Expedia or the hotel website. Avoid like the plague, it's unkempt, dirty and the managenent go on the degensive rather than rectify the issues

We had booked this place from 10th - 14th Oct 18, thinking we would get a room attached with a balcony (as the same was shown on the pictures for the costlier room). However, we got a room on the ground floor. If you are a late riser, please avoid staying in the ground floor rooms which are next to the dining area. The daily chatter from travellers during the breakfast hours is bound to wake you up early (it's unbearable, especially if you have had a late night). We also had plumbing and leakage issues in the washroom on the day we arrived but they were solved by the next day. The in room dining is terrible. The hotel has a non-existent menu during the dinner hours and it's best to go out and eat. On the last day, they ordered food for us from a nearby restaurant which was okay. I think it's better if the hotel follows this kind of setup and discontinues its own menu. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are not. However, the location is great (500-600 mtrs from Baga/ Calangute) but it's preferable to rent a vehicle as finding a taxi is a pain in Goa as such.

Comfortable stay, rooms smaller than what we thought initially and the balcony could have been better. However service was excellent, room was clean and comfortable and was all in all a good stay
