Le Apex Tharavaadu

Absolutely terrible experience at Lay Apex Tharavaadu. I booked a family room advertised to sleep four, expecting a king bed and a large sofa bed (as advertised). Upon arrival, there was only a single double bed barely fitting two people and no sign of any sofa bed at all—I ended up having to sleep on the floor after paying ₹4,500 for one night! Pros: The manager was helpful. The AC was working fine. Cons: Misleading Room Listing: Advertised for four people, but only had one double bed and no extra bedding or sofa. Access & Parking: Located on a narrow road crowded with scooters on both sides, making driving impossible. No parking nearby, and unloading luggage from the car was a nightmare. Lack of Basic Amenities: The mini fridge was non-functional. They provided only one bottle of drinking water, one towel, two pillows, and one bed cover for a family of four—we had to repeatedly ask the front desk to get basic items like extra pillows, blankets, and a small soap/shampoo. There is a camera right in front of the bathroom(see photos)! This is horrible - not sure if they want to watch who is going and coming out of bathroom? If you want to pay over ₹4,500 to sleep on the floor in a shady hotel, this is the place for you. I have no idea how Expedia displays good reviews for this property, but it was a complete disaster. Stay away!
