Symphony Palms Beach Resort

The hotel welcome is wonderfull. The made the room was made available earlier. But our cottage was opposite a building site, the hotel seems to be expanding building new rooms, this was never , mentioned when booking, so the noise was hard to tolerate. The rooms are in need of an upgrade, there is no fridge , just an empty old cupboard where the fridge shld have been the rooms are spacious but just dated. I asked for a hair dryer, which was bought over immediately but again it was so old, it barely dried my hair. The beach is very nice and you could easily spend good time relaxing The bar staff and service was excellent the location of the hotel is great with restaurants and spa services nearby

La struttura ha camere grosse e pulite. La colazione a buffet è adatta a tutti i palati. La spiaggia davanti all'hotel (basta attraversare la strada) non fornisce lettini.

Very bad experience! All rooms smelly, water leaking into the rooms, no clean towels, bathroom wires were open. Worst experience i ever had in my life. I booked for 2 days but i checked out on first day only because of these hell of experience. So requested refund for my 2nd day.

It is good hotel with polite and friendly staff. They served us well. Few things they need to improve about cleanliness and comfort. I am happy to accept that hotel maintains it's image around.

It was a pleasant stay and everything was well managed. We were able to enjoy the scenic beauty and hotel's private beach.

Good property with great beach view of the resort. Spacious room, with poor light's if screens are closed. Breakfast spread was ok. Food from restaurant was good in taste.Close to most of the attractions.

The good: 1. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and well equipped 2. Room service and food is decent The bad: 1. What you get, is not worth what you pay 2. I wouldn't spend extra for the breakfast or for the "beach front rooms" If you're looking for a room which opens up to the beach, you'd find much better options at a much better price. Be extremely careful while booking your rooms, though we booked a room by the beach, we were given a room at the far end of the hotel. This happened with at least 3other guests checking in at the same time as us. There clearly is wrong information given by the hotel on most websites. Be doubly sure about the room you're getting while booking. Would I come back here? Not a chance.

This hotel is well located good service but the bathrooms need to be updated, I think the property is at a stage in which it requires updating restaurant and breakfast average I would say it’s a 3 star hotel.

The stay was great. It is very beautiful property. They have a Tour guide Salim, who helped us plan the trip as well. They have a nice private beach. Only if they could have the bar on the beach.

We were not very satisfied with the food and the accommodation. Considering the rate you can get better.

Overall, our stay at Symphony was a large disappointment in terms of value for money. There are locations nearby at a much lower cost but with less marketing capacity, but more dedicated to service. Also it keeps the flexibility to eat outside, whereas here with half-board you are "confined" to a mediocre cuisine. We went for a diving holiday but the fact that for about a month now off-shore diving has been banned by an Indian government regulation, has conveniently been not mentioned to us. Therefore, we wanted to shorten our stay as the plan of pertaining an advanced open water diver license could not be realized. The hotel offered little to no help at all for that, so we forced to stay.

Overall a great stay -- yes it was a bit pricey but during the holidays your options are a bit limited on Havelock. Beautiful beach, enjoyed the feeling of being in nature just steps from the room, and since they're all little bungalows it was nice to have a bit of privacy and feel like we were in our own cabin near the beach.

La estancia muy bien pero no había agua caliente en la ducha y el WiFi no funcionaba la mayoría del tiempo.

The Cottages are very big and comfortable. AC was working fine, television not that much because of the bad signal on the island. But you won't need a tv because you should go out to enjoy the beaches. Same for the Wifi. The hotel has a very nice beach to view the sunset and to swim in the sea (only during the right timings). The Staff was very very nice, the food good and the whole hotel is very clean. Overall I had a nice stay at would come back.

posizione ok, sistemazione a ridosso della spiaggia dentro un palmeto, belo esternamente ma deludente per manutenzione, servizi hotel (no wifi) e pulizia molto scarsa

On the Hotels.com pages there was stated that there is wired internet in the room. However, the only place with internet was the hotel bar (of course you need to buy something in the bar in order to get access to the internet).

Wir hatten als "älteres Paar" (55 und 65 Jahre) 20 Tage im Symphony Palms gebucht. Das war wagemutig, weil wir nicht wussten was auf uns zukam. Die Anlage ist in zwei Bereiche geteilt, die durch eine Straße getrennt sind. Der Hauptbereich mit Rezeption, Restaurant und der Mehrzahl der Unterkünfte liegt auf der Seite ohne direkte Strrandsicht. Ein anderer Bereich mit ca 20 Häuschen (gegen ca. 20€ Aufpreis) ist traumhaft ganz in der Nähe des sehr gepflegten Strandes gelegen. Das war es uns wert! Der Ort erfüllt in der Tat so alle Klischees, die man von einem Tropenparadies hat. Äußerst beeindruckt waren wir von dem superfreundlichen, aufmerksamen Servicepersonal. Es entstand sehr viel herzliche, persönliche Nähe.Der Gästekreis besteht überwiegend aus (gutverdienenden) Indern, darunter viele junge Honeymoon-Paare.Dem trägt sauch das Restaurantangebot Rechnung. Die Küche ist absolut gut, das Frühstücks-buffet üppig undSonderwünsche werde gerne ohne Aufpreis erfüllt. Köstlich ist das hervorragend frisch die die Fische und Krustentiere (Tigerprawns), sollte man für den europäischen Gaumen aber lieber "en nature" gegart betsellen. Wichtig ist in der Hochsaison Mitte Dezember bis Mitte Januar frühzeitig die Fährtickets nach und von Havelock zu organisieren. Wir hätten ohne große Probleme bekommen, unseren Flieger zu erreichen, wenn die Hotelleitung nicht geholfen hätte. Anita Edelmann und Wilfried Seitz

As it was out of season the resort was quiet and relaxed. The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. A brilliant location and the food was great!
