When we arrived, we were so surprised that the hotel is nicer than we expected. Every hotel staff we met were very friendly and eager to help. During the first day breakfast at the hotel, one staff gave us a map and showed us where and what to in walking distance in Ubud. On our request, he even arranged a day trip for us for the next day. The driver picked us up on time from the hotel. We had a great time! We will stay in this cottage again if we visit Ubud again. Thanks to all the staff of this hotel. You made our holiday so enjoyable!

Un très bon accueil comme toujours à Bali. L’hôtel est situé en plein centre à 5 minutes du palace. Chambre spacieuse avec une bonne literie. Seul bémol, la salle de bain mériterait un bon rafraîchissement et une douche serait préférable. Le pommeau de la baignoire est cassé et donc on prend toute l’eau dans la figure!

Hoped for a quiet, clean, and comfy place to stay in the heart of Ubud, and that's exactly what I got! The staff was friendly and helpful at all times, the room, while a bit old, was clean, comfortable, and HUGE, and the pool and facilities were great. I was so comfortable at all times, as a single female traveler, and I really appreciated the friendly feel of the place. I highly recommend it!

Ruhig und erholsam, trotz das pulsierende Leben 50 Meter entfernt. Trotzdem das Receptionteam war zu sehr auf die formaliteten dass sie mir das Gefühl gab Zahlunfähig. Mit über 25 Bookings in 2025 beim Hotel.com bisschen unprofessionell. Sonnst alle supernett und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank

Awesome stat at Artini 2 (and later artini Bisma).
Surroundings, facilities, and location is perfect. Staff is lovely both maintenance, cleaningcrew, reception and in restaurant. Talked to them all and they are so friendly.
We got issues with an really aggressive neighbor guest that was drunk and couldn’t behave (old russian lady). Staff solved it in the best possible regard and went the extra mile for us. Due to this issue we later got the oppertunity to move over to Artini Bisma which also was an amazing facility at Bisma road.
Except for the drunk Russian other guests was a nice mix from around the world. Many seems to stay for a long time and return back.
I hope we can come back again in the future.

This was my 2nd stay at Artini 2 Cottages (last time in 2016). I love the traditional Balinese architecture and the fabulous, manicured garden setting wrapped around a crystal clear pool and dining area. The hotel is also very central to all the sights and attractions of Ubud, and the transport companies I used to travel to and from Ubud had their station just 400m from the hotel. Very attentive, kind staff and good breakfasts! This hotel is a winner in my book. One caveat... it is set well off and below the main street, so access for people with disabilities could be challenging.

We were moved across to the Artini hotel on Bisma as the pool was under repairs. The staff were fabulous at moving us over. And the Artini Bisma was wonderful.

One of my favourite hidden gems! I have stayed at a few other hotels in Bali / Ubud and this one is my favourite so far! It is set in from the busy street and the pool and the grounds are very “Zen”. I swam every day and made sure to add breakfast for approximately $4 extra per day, so I didn’t need to run out first thing. I stayed in a traditional room which was pretty basic. It had a small deck at the front and the only thing needed would be an updated bathroom since the tub was burgundy and had not undergone renovations, as some others had. I will definitely stay here again since the staff are very friendly and I found the whole experience to be very peaceful and enjoyable

De huisjes zijn heel gedateerd en voelen niet heel veilig aan. Door middel van een houten plankje tussen de deurhendels en een schuifslotje kan de deur op slot. Er zijn heel veel gaten en kieren waardoor wij continu bang waren voor beesten in de kamer. In de badkamer zit luxaflex voor het raam, maar daarvan missen een paar latjes waardoor het weinig nut meer heeft. Het bed kraakt enorm. Als je op de begane grond slaapt, kan je zonder oordopjes geen goede nachtrust verwachten. We konden letterlijk de bovenburen horen snurken en zodra zij liepen over de houten vloer, klonk het beneden alsof ze de hele toko aan het verbouwen waren. Zelfs met oordoppen in werd ik daar in de nacht wakker van. Verder oogt het doordat het zo oud is ook niet schoon. Er zaten vlekken op het matras en dekbed en de inhoud van het huis ziet eruit alsof het al ontzettend veel jaar geen onderhoud meer heeft gehad.
Verder is het qua omgeving rondom de huisjes heel mooi en is er veel groen. Het zwembad is ook super mooi met voldoende ligbedjes. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is op loopafstand van restaurants en winkeltjes. Ook het apenbos is op loopafstand.

Lovely property in a great location. However, my room was run down and the bathroom was outdated and not very clean.

Due to this issue we later got the oppertunity to move over to Artini Bisma which also was an amazing facility at Bisma road.
Except for the drunk Russian other guests was a nice mix from around the world. Many seems to stay for a long time and return back.
I hope we can come back again in the future.

This was my 2nd stay at Artini 2 Cottages (last time in 2016). I love the traditional Balinese architecture and the fabulous, manicured garden setting wrapped around a crystal clear pool and dining area. The hotel is also very central to all the sights and attractions of Ubud, and the transport companies I used to travel to and from Ubud had their station just 400m from the hotel. Very attentive, kind staff and good breakfasts! This hotel is a winner in my book. One caveat... it is set well off and below the main street, so access for people with disabilities could be challenging.

We were moved across to the Artini hotel on Bisma as the pool was under repairs. The staff were fabulous at moving us over. And the Artini Bisma was wonderful.

One of my favourite hidden gems! I have stayed at a few other hotels in Bali / Ubud and this one is my favourite so far! It is set in from the busy street and the pool and the grounds are very “Zen”. I swam every day and made sure to add breakfast for approximately $4 extra per day, so I didn’t need to run out first thing. I stayed in a traditional room which was pretty basic. It had a small deck at the front and the only thing needed would be an updated bathroom since the tub was burgundy and had not undergone renovations, as some others had. I will definitely stay here again since the staff are very friendly and I found the whole experience to be very peaceful and enjoyable

De huisjes zijn heel gedateerd en voelen niet heel veilig aan. Door middel van een houten plankje tussen de deurhendels en een schuifslotje kan de deur op slot. Er zijn heel veel gaten en kieren waardoor wij continu bang waren voor beesten in de kamer. In de badkamer zit luxaflex voor het raam, maar daarvan missen een paar latjes waardoor het weinig nut meer heeft. Het bed kraakt enorm. Als je op de begane grond slaapt, kan je zonder oordopjes geen goede nachtrust verwachten. We konden letterlijk de bovenburen horen snurken en zodra zij liepen over de houten vloer, klonk het beneden alsof ze de hele toko aan het verbouwen waren. Zelfs met oordoppen in werd ik daar in de nacht wakker van. Verder oogt het doordat het zo oud is ook niet schoon. Er zaten vlekken op het matras en dekbed en de inhoud van het huis ziet eruit alsof het al ontzettend veel jaar geen onderhoud meer heeft gehad.
Verder is het qua omgeving rondom de huisjes heel mooi en is er veel groen. Het zwembad is ook super mooi met voldoende ligbedjes. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is op loopafstand van restaurants en winkeltjes. Ook het apenbos is op loopafstand.

Lovely property in a great location. However, my room was run down and the bathroom was outdated and not very clean.
The restaurant, reception, gardens and pool were gorgeous and staff wonderful.
