I enjoyed my stay and was disappointed only because I couldn’t stay longer. The rain did not dampen the atmosphere. Hope to visit again

Noisy from the bars in the area.

The location was excellent on monkey forest road and hidden away amongst rice terraces. The buildings were beautiful and pools lovely, but the rooms were not clean, the mattresses incredibly uncomfortable and the bathrooms were not cleaned at all. I would love it if the management updated this place, it was in a perfect location, it is incredibly beautiful and the staff lovely but it really needs a proper cleaning.

Bathroom needs scrubbing. Toilet had a brown ring and was ancient. It was not stinky so I was happy to use it. But the fixtures, walls, toilets all needs good scrubbing. Otherwise the property was decent. Beautiful outdoor, staff was very friendly.

A bit old. Shower no pressure, WiFi didn’t work on room I had to go to reception to send

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location. Staff were lovely. Loved the pool.

Good location 10 min walk to either Ubud market or the monkey forest. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed and pillow - probably gets hotel bed we’ve had. Staff were happy to let my 5 year old son feed the fish, and taught him to talk to the pet birds in Indonesian. Pools are nice. Good little shallow areas for kids too. Overall rooms could use a revamp, but all in all got what we paid for we feel. Some building happening around outside of the hotel - nothing they can control. Would happily stay again

Their policy and capability to resolve issues with you is limited. Also pricing is overcharged in comparison to other amenities in the area.

The staff is amazing, with a golden star to Ayo in the restaurant! Cendanas garden is one of a kind, it’s sooo beautiful and full of life it beats everything else I’ve seen. And a good pool, spilling over into the rice fields. We loved our stay, would definitely come back again…

Great location. The property is set back from the main Street. So it’s nice and quiet when you need to rest, but walkable to stores, restaurants, spas, etc. Rice field view and visiting monkeys are a plus for our family. The units are older and can be updated but for the price, we would stay here again.

- The hotel staff is nice with good hostability. We stayed at for 2 nights. - They provide good taxi charter service. - Bath towel is washed with good quality, soften enough. It shows their landory service totaly high quality. - We requested them to wash few of our clothes, and the quality is enough good with affordable price. - Guest room is very good with good bed spring. - We could see a nice landscape while having breakfast. Location - Good location from Palece. We backed the hotel at around 20:30 on the second night but it was safe. - Convinience store is located nearby. You can get beer and snacks. Others - You can get tickets of Bali dance held in the Palace at front desk of the hotel. - We took charter taxi two times. You need to pay the cost to the drivers in direct. Recovery Point. - Breakfast quantity is not enough even if it is a Japanese men, not european. So, please provide a few breads and sweets as buffe or free service. If we will visit Ubud, we will stay at the resort again. We hope we meet a nice charter driver on our 2nd day. He is really nice.

The dirtiest place that we have ever stayed - dirty bed linen(dried blood on the pillowcase), hair in the bathroom, filthy toilet, shower that doesn’t get warm/hot, algae in the one pool that is open. We due to stay 2 nights, but due to the condition of the hotel we stayed only 1 night. I am currently waiting on a refund for the second night.

Beachfront. Many staff appeared to be in training and did not have much English. Large resort well maintained but not running at capa ity.

The hotel is perfectly located for walking everywhere in Ubud. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool setting overlooking the rice field was a highlight. The food was delicious at the restaurant too. We highly recommend Cendana, and would stay again when we visit Ubud.

Beautiful old style Balinese hote

The room could be fitted with more hooks and places to hang our clothes, and the furniture needs upgrading. Staff were friendly and helpful. More breakfast options would be great but, understand that the hotel would need more staff for that. The doorknob on our bathroom door was faulty and it was rather difficult to open and close the door. I think guests should also be provided with power adapters, as all power outlets are only compatible with Type C European plugs and Schuko Type F plugs. The beds had mosquito nets which was really helpful as mosquitoes abound especially at dusk and nighttime (this should come as no surprise, because there are rice paddy fields within the vicinity). The hotel is walking distance from the city centre. Overall it was a good stay at the hotel, and I enjoyed the staff’s hospitality.
