Thật là một nơi tuyệt đẹp để ở lại và thư giãn và tận hưởng kỳ nghỉ của bạn. Cảnh quan mê hồn của đại dương rộng mở gần bãi biển Padang Padang. Nơi hoàn hảo để bạn lướt sóng vì có lối đi thẳng ra bãi biển. Nội thất đẹp và phòng thoải mái, và cũng đáng ngạc nhiên là nước rất trong và không có cảm giác mặn. Nhân viên và cả chủ nhà đều rất rất thân thiện. Một gợi ý nhỏ cho du khách muốn ở lại đây, hãy mang ít hành lý hơn vì lối vào dốc xuống cầu thang, hoặc bạn có thể nhờ nhân viên giúp đỡ. Cảm ơn bạn 👍

Tôi ở lại một đêm và có phòng tốt nhất của họ. Ban công nhìn ra biển. Trang trí phòng là dễ thương và nó rất sạch sẽ. Nó có lối đi dễ dàng đến bãi biển. Con đường là một chút thử thách với tất cả các cầu thang nhưng nó là giá trị nó! Chủ sở hữu là tốt đẹp.

Ở 3 đêm tại đây. Ưu điểm: Cảnh đẹp tuyệt vời 😲 Phòng sạch sẽ. Phòng tắm lớn. Nhân viên rất lịch sự. Nước uống miễn phí. Khu vực thư giãn và tiếp khách ngoài trời tuyệt vời. Nhược điểm: Khó tiếp cận nhà gỗ. Không có người trợ giúp để mang hành lý. Không có vòi hoa sen phun cho tủ ngồi. Nhìn chung, chúng tôi thực sự hạnh phúc khi ở lại đây và chắc chắn sẽ quay lại! Chúng tôi khuyên bạn bè của chúng tôi cũng nên ở lại đây.

The views are absolutely stunning from here. The rooms are clean and simple but the view and shared outdoor areas are so beautiful. The food is good as well but small. The staff were amazing! They helped us carry our bags down all the stairs and up!

Rummet var väldigt smutsigt när vi kom, hår på både golvet och kuddarna. På kvällen när vi skulle lägga oss upptäckte vi att det var fullt av myror i sängen. Vågorna slog upp mot fönstret hela natten.
Men utsikten var fantastisk!
Vi hade bokat 2 nätter här, men valde att lämna efter första natten. Fick tyvärr inte pengarna tillbaka för den andra natten.
Personalen var inte så trevliga heller, stirrade argt på oss efter vi berättade om myrorna.

Friendly staff, simple but good breakfast.
But…
The rooms were more worn than expected (see the photos the “hotel” advertises).
The bed sheet had some stains, and we saw quite a few small insects in the room.
Because of heavy rain the first night, it turned into a real river hitting the wall behind where we were sleeping, with small stones as well.
The location right down by the water wasn’t for us, so we checked out the next day after breakfast.

Disappointing Stay at Rock and Reef – False Advertising and Major Inconveniences

I booked Rock and Reef expecting a modern, renovated room based on the sleek photos on their website and booking platforms. What I got was the complete opposite: a tired, outdated room that clearly hasn’t been touched in years.
• Room condition: an ancient aircon unit that wheezed like it was on life support.
• Linens: Towels and bedsheets were old, faded, and felt like they’d been in service since the 90s.
• Misleading photos: The “modern” room in the ads doesn’t exist. My room looked nothing like the renovated version advertised.
Location hassle: The resort is perched on a cliff, which sounds romantic until you have to haul luggage down a steep, uneven path. They offer porter service with a fee.
The final straw – morning power outage:
At sunrise, the power cut out and never came back. No electricity = no aircon (room turned into a sauna), no running water for showering or even brushing teeth. With an old AC unit that takes ages to cool, the room was unbearable. We checked out hours early just to escape.
The only saving grace: The food was genuinely excellent—fresh, flavorful, and the one thing they got right.
The direct view to ocean was great too.
Verdict: Rock and Reef is coasting on pretty photos and maybe great location for surfer. Everything else—facilities and basic amenities—feels neglected.

Die Umgebung teils vermüllt das hat uns nicht so gut gefallen.

The hotel is very picturesque but it said no check in after 7:00pm so I called to the number listed and a message in French answered. I tried WhatsApp and no answer but only after I sent a written answer I got a response. There is a treacherous passage very bad lit to get to the property and then endless steps all very high and narrow and different heights, with a cliff with almost no railing on the other side. The room was almost on the rocks, well decorated but no hot water came ever even when I let water run. I do not recommend booking here!!

This place is in a beautiful location and the staff are all lovely, however there is definitely room for improvement. We arrived in Bali late so the hotel kindly pre-arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport and help us carry our luggage down the steps to our room and check us in. However, following this, the next morning we never received any welcome or information from anyone which would have been useful as we hadn't had a proper check in and therefore had no idea who to speak to about anything. Our room was lovely but could have done with some improvements:
-the aircon wasn't great so it was still very warm at night
- the shower head couldn't be used in its holder so you had to hold it yourself to shower
- our fridge was not working so we let the staff know who just removed it from our room and said nothing more so we didn't have a fridge for our stay and were still charged for the one warm beer we had out of it on arrival. Furthermore, there was no sign to actually say you had to pay for the drinks in the fridge and their cost
- an information pack would have been useful in the room just to have the WiFi password on, breakfast times, check out times, minibar costs, a number to call/whatsapp if there was any issues etc
Lastly, I booked this place with the understanding it had a pool. I'm not sure the 0.5m deep, 2x2m tub of water could be classed as a pool...

Vi tilbragte 2 nætter på dette fantastiske sted. Bedste udsigt nogensinde. Vi havde et stort lækkert værelse og spiste på hotellet en enkelt gang hvilket var helt ok.
Mange aber i området, men de holdte sig for sig selv og generede ikke nogen.
Trapperne til hotellet er meget hårde! Personalet hjalp heldigvis med vores bagage.
Vi kommer gerne igen.

First of all, the staff is friendly and kind.
As for the resort it self, we were a little disappointed. Location wise, it beautiful and right on the beach with incredible views.
What we didn't like was the limited food menu. This is somewhat understandable as they only have 11 rooms, however, tgis resort includes free breakfast (if that's what you call it), when you're paying good money to stay at a resort on the beach and you order the "American breakfast" and it comes with one slice of bacon and two eggs and toast - I'd hardly call that American breakfast. Most American breakfast comes with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and sausage, so on that note, it was disappointing.
Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean, however, we dealt with insects, cockroach's, and a Tomcat that stung my wife while she was sleeping on our first night, and unfortunately ruined her remaining trip as she seeked medical attention from a doctor.
Lastly, the ocean around the property was actually disgusting, I've never seen so much garbage floating around and on the beach (this is not the fault of the resort) but when you want to go swimming and can't due to the garbage floating near the shore, it makes you even question ever going back to Bali.

Such an amazing place to stay. A short walk from all the best cafes, shops and bars in Uluwatu and a truly breathtaking place to stay, swim and unwind even when the weather isn’t its finest. Beautiful hosts and vibe 🙌

This was such a unique place to stay. You have to be ready for the trek to get there but once you do, the views are incredible. The place itself is rustic but charming. The staff were scrambling when we arrived because they couldn’t find our reservation but once that was settled, they were good. The food was amazing! We spent hours on our balcony, enjoying the view. Would recommend!

This is one of the coolest and most unique places I have ever stayed. I would love to go back. Bluefinity room is literally as close to the sea as you will ever be able to stay without being in the sea! I loved my mornings and evenings watching the surfers. The hotel food was great, gorgeous breakfasts and dinners so good I didn’t need to eat anywhere else. Do not take a lot of luggage, the staff have to carry it a long way up and down the cliff steps. It’s a great location within Uluwatu, close to all the hottest café spots and HATCH Sunday market.
John was so helpful and I love that when the staff saw you sunbathing, they would automatically bring you a jug of filter water to stay hydrated. Thoughtful little details like this made my stay so memorable. Rock n Reef has a place in my heart forever!

Beautiful, quiet and serene. Stayed 3 nights at Rock and Reef and had a great stay. Place is full of character and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food options are very good and there’s enough variety that we were quite happy to eat at the hotel while watching the sunset over the ocean. The room was well appointed and comfortable. My only issue would be that I’d like to see the air conditioner work a little better, thankfully there was a fan in the room to accompany the AC to keep the room comfortable at night. The stairs down to the hotel can be a challenge with luggage so use the call box at the top and get help. It’s within walking distance to some decent nightlife and shopping if you want to go out for the day.

Absolutely stunning, the view was beautiful, the beach is right on your door step, it is a steep climb up to the main road but only takes roughly 1 min to get up the steep stairs, then can either walk to the main road which is only 500m away or get a gojek. Location is great, everything is super close, all the best cafes etc. amazing surf right out front if your a surfer this is a prime location. The stuff were super friendly and accommodating and breakfast was great. Only thing we had an issue with was there was a few big bull ants that were in our room. Also would be great touch if the rooms had a tv.
