Umakayu Bali

Don't really have many positive things to say about our stay On check in staff could not find our booking We waited 30 min while the staff tried to sort out the problem . When finally shown our room WHAT A DISSAPIONTMENT !!! The room was an old TIMBER house (Which I knew from pictures ) Divided into 2 seperate rooms Nicely decorated . What I didn't take into consideration was the size of the room basically only enough room for the bed and one small side table! With no outlook Except TIBER WALLS 1tiny timber window which was difficult to open and close The bathroom was nice but it had NO door on it and the dividing wall between bathroom and bedroom was not to the ceiling NO privacy what so ever !!! So if your NOT comfortable hearing or smelling your partner whilst they use the toilet This room is not for you !! Luckily there was a toilet in the check in area :)) BUT the worse thing was the NOISE !!! Being an old TIMBER house with NO plaster or sound proofing you could hear EVERYTHING in the adjoining room. AND being close to the main road the traffic noise was non stop ALL NIGHT !!!! Must be a common complaint. When I told the staff they smiled and offered to change us to another room in 3 days time ! A 15 night stay turned into a 1 night stay !!!! Best thing about Umakayu is the staff They were Very helpful in helping us while we found a QUIETER and cheaper hotel

Lieu formidable : décoration d'exception, literie parfaite. L'équipe est très attentionnée et efficace. Seul bémol si vous n'avez pas le sommeil lourd : le bruit de la route trop présent dans notre logement situé au 1er étage. Je pense que les autre hébergements en rez de jardin sont beaucoup plus calmes.

Umakaya was such a wonderful find! It was perfect for my boyfriend and I. We stayed two nights but if had I known about it, I would have stayed longer. The rooms were beautifuly decorated and comfortable. The pool area is great to chill in and the sourrounding garden is so pretty. The location is great, there is a cute organic cafe across the road and a convenience store close by with anything you need. The staff are awesome and helped us with everything. Overall, we loved it!
