Cave Bianche Hotel

Nice staff and unique hotel however, got food poisoning at their restaurant and was on the brink of needing to go to the hospital. The beds are rock hard too, makes for a very uncomfortable sleep.

Duur voor de service die je krijgt. Je hebt de hele tijd het gevoel dat je in het zak gezet wordt. Een taxi van het hotel naar het dorp is 16 euro per familie. Maw zijn er 3 families in de taxi is het 48 euro. Indien je alleen bent is het 16 euro. Hetzelfde voor de fietsen waar wij 25 euro betaalden en het koppel dat een dag later het kwam vragen aan de balie 30 euro… We zaten in een Deluxe kamer, bij aankomst waren er 3 bedden in de kamer. Ze hebben een veldbed erbij gezet om er 4 te hebben op een kleine oppervlakte. Verder wel een propere kamer in een mooie setting. Zeer vriendelijk personeel in het restaurant, voornamelijk de dame aan de koffie.

the only annoying thing was the lack of english skills of the staff making it somewhat difficult to communicate, but they were all very nice and the fact that dinner was not served before 8pm, which is quite late; otherwise very chill and laid back vibe, nice pool, big rooms, amazing breakfast, good coffee, we enjoyed our stay and could imagine staying even longer

Hotel discreto. Personale gentile e professionale. Camere pulite ma arredate in maniera molto (troppo) essenziale. Hall anonima. Aree comuni da migliorare.

Conoscevo già la struttura sono ritornata dopo qualche anno. L’ho trovata prima delle vasche idromassaggio ma sempre molto confortevole, tranquilla, rilassante. Struttura molto particolare dal punto di vista architettonico, tornerei sicuramente. Unico neo: aumenterei servizio navetta con il centro di Favignana perché i costi dei taxi sono troppo elevati e la posizione decentrata finirebbe per penalizzare la struttura.

Cave Bianche is situated in an old quarry, its attractive buildings made from the tufa stone, which was quarried here. The grounds are attractively landscaped, there is a beautiful pool - and bar - and the staff are solicitous and friendly. Colazione is the standard Italian fare, included in the room price. The two dinners I ate there were excellent - the hotel kitchen knows what is doing and delivers wonderful Sicilian fish and seafood dishes. There is a shuttle service to town and also for ferry pickup and drop off. Given the spontaneity of my booking - and the excellent room price I received - I am a very happy customer! I would love to return….

The hotel is unique and has a lot of potential.. drain in shower plugged. Staff not very friendly . 4 star hotel and no coffee machine, charge for all water, no conditioner no body lotion. Property has no life, no color, no atmosphere. Pool opens late closes early… nothing else to do at the hotel… breakfast was rushed and unfriendly . Would have been nice to have bikes to rent as location is not near anything and not enough to do at the property.

Arrivare in una struttura e scoprire di dormire al piano -3 è già poco confortevole, poi ti fanno la camera accanto alla porta di entrata ed uscita per la piscina ed infine hai il balcone o meglio hai la porta del balcone dove chiunque può entrare!!! La camera minuscola, la pira del bagno che sbatte nel letto, la sedia che non ti permette di muoverti perché toglie il passaggio ovunque la metti. Entri in bagno e scopri che non funziona il phon e che la struttura che ha 50 camere ha solo 4 phon e tutti già imprestati!!!! Quindi non mi danno una soluzione per potermi fare una doccia e shampoo dopo ore di viaggio!!!! Il phon, da viaggio, mi viene consegnato solo il giorno dopo e nonostante avevo messo il “don’t disturb” in mia assenza scopro che sono entrati nella mia camera!!!! Colazione scarsa di quantità, varietà e qualità! Tavoli per la colazione vecchi e molto usurati, bastava una tovaglia a coprire i difetti!!! Infine sono costretta a lasciare la struttura per una emergenza familiare e solo a fine prenotazione ricevo una email preconfezionata dalla struttura che spera che il soggiorno sia andato bene. Neppure la decenza di evitare, non dico che dovevano chiedermi come andava!!!

Location molto interessante, gradevole la continuità degli arredi interi con l’ambiente circostante. Scarsa la fornitura di prodotti per l’igiene personale. Colazione accettabile, ma basso l’assorbimento in particolare dei cibi salati. Migliorabile il collegamento con il centro del paese, pressoché impossibile se non si è dotati di un proprio mezzo di locomozione.

Il luogo è veramente bello, con una piscina grande e spaziosa, il bar e ristorante accanto con la possibilità di mangiare. La mia stanza era una tripla grande con un bagno grande, doccia bellissima, pulizia ok, design ok, comfort ok. Personale gentilissimo sempre, paziente e disponibile!!! La posizione dell’hotel va bene ma solo se si hanno dei mezzi come bicicletta o scooter perché a piedi è un po’ lontanuccio, soprattutto la sera è tutto al buio.
