An excellent room but not if you have difficulty with stairs. If you do make it clear when booking. Would have liked drink-making facilities in the room. The hotel supplied suggestions for places to eat and I made use of them. The places I tried were good decisions. Breakfasts were a good choice of continental style food and having drinks made to order was excellent. The room was clean and well maintained. Being so close to the Basilica and the historic centre was brilliant. I felt very comfortable as a solo traveller.

Excellent location! Across from Cathedral of Saint Anthony. Our triple room was great with the 3rd person having almost a private room. Comfortable and clean rooms and breakfast more than enough offerings.

Beautiful hotel with quality decor and furnishings. Very welcoming staff and beautifully cooked breakfast included as well as continental breakfast. Accross the road from Saint Anthony Basillica. Lots of coffee shops nearby. I

Good location next to the cathedral. Clean property with a good breakfast. I would stay here again although I wouldn’t bother paying extra for the city view room. The windows looked out to a busy outdoor bar/restaurant, so I had to keep the shutters closed anyway.

Reception staff very pleasant and helpful, but staff during breakfast were inefficient and couldn`t keep up with demand.

This exceptional hotel is in the very center of Padua, opposite the Basilica. The hotel crew is welcoming and accommodating. When we arrived late, they arranged with the restaurant to wait for us for dinner.

Hôtel très bien placé, face à la basilique St À. De Padoue. Parking de l’hôtel quasi inexistant sinon parking assez loin à pied et 15€/jour. Personnel très aimable et serviable. Les draps étaient moyens, une lampe cassée et la chambre et salle de bain méritent une bonne renovation

Hotel Donatello was our base of operations for a 5 day trip (Not including the days for flying out and back) to a part of Italy I have long wanted to explore. Our trip saw us explore Vicenza, Firenze, and Padova before moving on to Venice, and this hotel was perfect for that. Well situated with the Basilica di Sant'Antonia di Padova literally on the front doorstep and most of the old city within a 15 minute walk, it perfectly set the tone for the trip. The concierge staff were of great help at all times of day and very friendly, even holding onto our bags after checkout so we could explore the Palazzo del Bo (A highly recommended visit to one of the oldest universities in the world where Galileo was a professor) before moving on to Venice. The room was very comfortable though our room was not very accessible for any wheelchair users due to the nature of the building putting a lot of small steps along corridors. This isn't an issue full-stop for such people however as rooms nearer the elevator were much more accessible. The room itself had a very comfortable en-suite although the shower was more of a head to be used in the bath rather than a free-standing shower. Breakfast each morning was very good with a nice simple continental provided, and other meals easily accessible around either directly outside the restaurant or slightly further afield towards the city centre. Overall a perfect hotel for a stunning visit to a gorgeous city that is off the tourist trail.

Idéal famille ! Dans l’entrée de la chambre, 3 portes : à gauche la chambre d’enfant, à droite les parents, au milieu la sdb/wc. Intimité garantie, très pratique. Bonne literie. On regrette l’absence de rideau de douche mais bon… Donne directement sur la basilique St Antoine. À 15 minutes à pied de la Chapelle Scrovegni (Giotto - RÉSERVER) et 25 minutes à pied de la gare (ou bus / tram direct : 5 minutes). Petit-dej tout à fait correct même si options salées limitées. Accueil charmant. Personnel aux petits soins.
