Hotel Genio

Definitely very nice and clean Hotel and has a very beautiful old decor with the vintage and boutique look . Very friendly staff. Very nice top floor breakfast room.

La experiencia ha sido estupenda, el hotel muy bonito y la habitacion muy acogedora ,aunque los muebles un poco antiguos, estaria bien que pusieran una cama de matrimonio en vez de dos individuales juntas. Por lo demas todo genial, el desayuno estupendo, el personal muy simpatico y con disposicion a ayudar siempre que lo necesitaramos.

Esta foi a terceira vez que ficamos no Hotel Gênio, sempre pela excelente localização, perto da Piazza Navona. O hotel é antigo e com decoração datada, o que é comum no centro histórico de Roma mas nas visitas anteriores sempre foi confortável. Desta vez, no entanto, o conforto do quarto ficou prejudicado. O hotel desligou o ar-condicionado, permitindo apenas ligar ou desligar o aquecedor, e não havia ventilador disponível. Como viajamos no início de novembro e Roma não estava tão fria, o quarto ficou muito quente e desconfortável. Nas duas estadias anteriores, no inverno, não sentimos esse problema, talvez porque o frio externo compensava. Não sei se é uma nova política do hotel, mas considero extremamente desagradável que o hóspede não possa controlar a temperatura do próprio quarto.

La forza di questo hotel è il personale, soprattutto quello alla reception: gentile, competente e veloce; anche lo staff in sala colazioni è molto gentile. L’hotel è datato e potrebbe sicuramente beneficiare di qualche ristrutturazione (soprattutto nelle camere), però a quel punto per un 4 stelle in una posizione così spettacolare i prezzi sarebbero ben altri. A conti fatti, considerando il rapporto qualità prezzo, posizione e servizi, è sicuramente un ottima soluzione.

This is my 2nd time staying in Hotel Genio, it maybe old but its clean, close to everything, very convenient. Breakfast buffet is fantastic! I highly recommend!

The hotel was located conveniently and within walking distance of many tourist locations. Our room faced the main street so was very noisy when the window was open. The room was clean and comfortable; however, the mattress on the bed was not very comfortable. Have never ate such hard bread and buns as at the continental breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Good location. You can walk to piazza Nuova, to Panteon. 35 min to walk to Vatican museum.

Hotel molto datato camera e bagno da 2 stelle con unico interuttore che accendi e spegni tutte le luci.Manca la scheda per accensione e inoltre ascensore vecchissima con porta che fa rumore occorre ristrutturare.Alla reception Antonio perdona gentile e anche la colazione alquanto buona.Caffe e cappuccino alla macchinetta.

All the personel at the hotel were fantastic. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is old and all the furniture is old, but it is clean and the location is great. It makes you feel nostalgic about the past. It is located near every important site in Rome. The price of the room is very good. I recommend this hotel for everybody that don t want to spend to much money and want to be near the center of Rome in a clean and safe place. I think it was a good choice.

Location is perfect (1 minute walk from Piazza Navona), staff very friendly and helpful and the property has an amazing roof top patio that has nice sights over the city.

Very nice hotel in excellent location, closely to everything.

One of the main reasons I picked this hotel is that the description says it has a gym. It doesn’t have a gym and hasn’t for a couple of years. I always stay at hotels with fitness centers. This was a major disappointment. However, the breakfast spread was very good.
