Hotel Villa Dirce

Our stay in Limone was absolutely wonderful! The hotel’s location couldn’t have been better – right by the lake, surrounded by stunning mountain views and breathtaking scenery. Every morning we woke up to the most beautiful panorama imaginable. The staff made our experience even more special; they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back

Amazing stay! Zero complaints. The staff were efficient and friendly anytime we needed something. The room was very clean and well equipt and the included breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!

The staff could not be anymore helpful and nice. The free shuttle service was very helpful and were happy to give us an early lift into town for some day trips we had planned. The room was nice and was cleaned everyday. The jacuzzi worked well which I was happy about. The breakfast was good. However you could not beat the views. As soon as you got out of your room onto your terrace you are surrounded by gorgeous panoramic scenery of the mountains. Having your own private jacuzzi overlooking the mountains is something that is not easily beaten.

Amazing stay at Hotel Villa Dirce. Fantastic place, fabulous views over the lake and great staff. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived right to the end. Nothing was too much trouble. Such a nice place to spend a week with the family. Easy walk into Limone and boats to other areas on the Lake. Would 100% recommend!

Alles sauber und ordentlich. Sehr freundliches und nettes Personal !!! Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können das Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

We had an amazing time at Hotel Villa Dirce. The hotel is essentially carved into the side of the mountain overlooking the lake and is absolutely picturesque. Our room (and it seems most of the rooms from what we could tell), had a truly amazing view out over the lake. The nearby town of Limone has cute restaurants and shops (can get crowded during peak times), and is a 0.8 mile walk from the hotel. There seems to be a lot of discussion about the walk in the comments, I would generally say the walk is very doable (primarily one set of stairs to climb/descend depending on the direction), but if mobility is a concern the stairs are a little steep. However, there is a shuttle that runs regularly between the hotel and the town center. The hotel has an awesome pool with amazing views over the lake. There isn't direct access to the lake from the hotel, but there are public beaches along the walk to Limone. Would highly recommend Hotel Villa Dirce!

This property is second to none! The views, regardless of where you stay, are absolutely incredible! We had a hot tub room and a balcony room and both were equally amazing! Although the parking situation is a little weird, it’s not terrible. Just be aware that if you don’t buy a spot ahead of time, you have to park in a parking garage and the shuttle picks you up in downtown Limone at certain times. But you have a shuttle to take you to and from the ferry to get around the lake very easily! This is the only place we will stay when we come back! And we will be back!

What a wonderful place to stay! We so loved the location, the balcony with the beautiful view, the champagne breakfast that was included, the gorgeous pool area and the wonderful staff who went above and beyond to provide a most memorable experience! Thank you!

Camera bella e la colazione abbondante, ma assolutamente sconsigliato! Volevamo trascorrere una serata in relax lontano dalla città in una delle loro belle suites con jacuzzi in camera, ma ci hanno accolti completamente impreparati. Primo, la carta per accedere alla camera non funzionava, e siamo saliti e scesi al piano -2 per 3 volte prima di avere la chiave fisica per entrare. Secondo, dalla vasca idromassaggio all’esterno usciva solo acqua gelida e sporcizia ( sintomo di scarsa cura e manutenzione) e dopo una serie chiamate alla reception mi informano che sarebbero venuti a sistemarla. Terzo, Nel frattempo salta la corrente in camera, e altra chiamata per farla riattivare. Non avendo la possibilità di rilassarci in vasca con vista lago ci siamo visti costretti a uscire per cena, e al nostro rientro ci è stato confermato che la vasca non era funzionante e non la avrebbero potuta sistemare. Per scusarsi del disagio ci hanno “offerto” (lo metto tra virgolette perché tra la somma che abbiamo pagato e i disagi che ci hanno creato……..)una bottiglia di merlot di qualità infima..e degli assaggi di formaggio(buono). Alla fine, naturalmente, abbiamo pagato per una camera senza la vasca idromassaggio…il problema è che mai e poi mai saremo andati li per avere una camera standard senza la vasca. Niente da dire allo staff che ha provato per quel che poteva a risolvere i problemi.

Das Hotel Villa Dirce ist aus den 70.Jahren. Die Zimmer sind auch so eingerichtet ausser die Nasszone ist modernisiert worden. Die Zimmer sind sehr geringhörig. Wir haben einmal Am Abend das Abendessen genossen war sehr fein.

Siistit huoneet ja muut tilat. Mukava allasalue. Ystävällinen ja rento henkilökunta. 20 minuutin melko hengästyttävä kävelymatka keskustaan, hotellin taksi kyllä käytettävissä.

Die Anreise im Hotel lief problemlos. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Da wir nur Frühstück gebucht hatten kamen wir uns jedoch beim ersten Frühstück wie Gäste der "zweiten" Klasse vor. Wir durften nur an Tische sitzen die schon "benutzt" waren. Das Hotel war sauber und ordentlich jedoch ziemlich weit vom Ortskern Limone entfernt. Man benötigt gut 20 Minuten Berg-auf-Berg-ab bis man in der beschaulichen Stadt ist. Unser Zimmer wurde immer sehr spät (16.00 Uhr) gereinigt was uns teilweise etwas irritierte.

Ikke alt for imødekommende overfor motorcykkel rejsende da der er begrænsede parkeringsfaciliteter. Generel fabelagtig udsigt fra alle værelser men enkelte har begrænset udsyn - undgå disse (302+303 og 202+203)
