I am giving this hotel 5 stars for the location. Close to the train station, main center and it's a 10 min walk to the beach. Rooms are very basic and dated!. AC was weak but it was enough to keep us cool. Showers are extremely small but doable if you are average height/size. Just avoid the free breakfast - it's not edible. They offer pre ordered plates which are basically day old pastries, cold cuts and meats that look like canned and a coffee machine with bland drink. The female staff here are very disconnected, don't make an attempt to say hello or good morning. If you try to ask them something you are inconveniencing them - not approachable! The males are friendly and willing to help. WiFi is very weak in the rooms - constantly dropping. Beds are ok - hard but I was still able to get sleep. Hotel is clean though - no complaints there. Overall this is a good hotel for 1-2 nights max. Check in is at 4pm, not a minute sooner. At least you can go to the beach though as they can lock up your luggage. Front lobby is ghost town...you can never find anyone here. I don't think I would've survived here any longer than 2 nights. Do yourself a favor and pay extra to stay somewhere else. We will not be returning to stay here nor will we recommend this to our family and friends.

ich war ja schon einmal in diesem Hotel, daher habe ich es noch einmal gebucht, ich würde es nicht mehr machen! Die lange Corona-Pause hätte man nutzen können, um das Hotel zu sanieren! Zufällig wohnte ich wieder in dem selben Zimmer wie vor 3 Jahren, das Waschbecken hat noch immer einen Sprung, der Abfluss vom Waschbecken rostet! Der Toilettensitz wackelt/verrutscht gefährlich, meine 2malige Urgenz an der Rezeption brachte leider keinen Erfolg, dabei wäre die Reparatur mit einer Zange ganz einfach gewesen! nach zwei tagen gab es kein Duschgeel mehr, auch 2x urgiert, am letzten Tag hatten wir wieder Duschgeel! es gibt kein Buffet mehr, angeblich wegen Corona, man hat 3 Frühstücksmöglichkeiten: International, Italienisch, oder Süß! International ist Rührei, Speck, Würstchen, 2 Scheiben Toastschinken, 2 Scheiben Käse! Brot extra zu bestellen, Butter extra zu bestellen! Das Personal ist sehr bemüht, um deine Wünsche zu erfüllen ( kein Rührei, dafür Vollkornbrot und Butter, oder nur Vollkornbrot mit Butter und Marmelade.. Man könnte ja das Buffet aufbauen und bedienen, so kenne ich es auch! man bekommt Bestecksäckchen, der kleine Löffel ist aus Plastik, nicht gerade sehr Umweltfreundlich! Überhaupt hat man den Eindruck, hier wird am Gast gespart, damit die Corona-Stehzeit wieder eingebracht wird! Auch im Bad ist das Duschgeel portionsweise in Plastiksäckchen gefüllt, anstatt man entweder einen Spender in der Dusche aufhängt, oder eine Verpackung wählt, in der mehr Portionen sind!

Sempre un buon hotel centrale e le camere vintage in legno sono nettamente migliori di quelle recentemente rinnovate al risparmio con cartongesso e finti armadi aperti alla maniera francese: per estetica e odori dei contenuti gli armadi devono essere chiusi. Per fortuna le camere in stile vintage sono ancora più numerose, per poter scegliere. In alta stagione è caro (in bassa, a parte qualche periodo, è chiuso) anche se è presentato come "low cost" in confronto ad altri hotel e B&B di Tropea che evidentemente si sono montati la testa e chiedono cifre più alte. Noi rimaniamo a lungo, ma è ovvio che la maggior parte degli utenti, a causa dei prezzi, rimane pochi giorni: la Calabria è da qualche tempo protagonista della corsa al rialzo dei prezzi, per cui si vede bene che, in confronto ad altre regioni d'Italia, è quella dove gli albergatori guadagnano quasi solo in luglio e agosto, dopo di che c'è il deserto o quasi. Tenere prezzi e tasse di soggiorno più normali porterebbe più turismo. L'albergo è un 3 stelle dichiarato, ma senza frigobar che servirebbe nei periodi di caldo intenso, le colazioni medie sono scarse, da 2 stelle, salvo eccezioni, anche se si leggono dichiarazioni di colazioni eccezionali (vedi foto bugiarde) che però si riferiscono ad esperienze valide in anni passati come il 2016, perché poi questo albergo fu dato in gestione dai fratelli proprietari ad un padrone di un villaggio turistico che non lo cura bene. I televisori prendono poco. Internet wi-fi va bene.

O quarto possui um box bem pequeno e nao possuem cortinas black-out. No verao, às 6 horas da manhã o sol já está dentro do quarto e não é mais possível dormir. É o tipo de hotel para quem quer pagar pouco e ficar só uma ou duas noites. O atendimento é razoável. O pior atendimento que tivemos na recepção foi de uma moça de cabelo escuro lido e olhos claros. Era de uma má vontade extrema. Não ajudava em nada, não sabia de nada e não informava nada. Precisei de um simples alicate porque tive um problema com o cadeado da mala e ela se limitou a dizer "não temos". Nos vendeu um lugar no Sunset Club com guarda-sol e duas espreguiçadeiras por €31,50 e mal explicou como chegar lá. Por conta da preguiça em informar, tivemos que fazer um caminho bem mais longo. Recomendo não comprar com eles, mas diretamente na praia. Sempre tem lugar, mesmo em alta temporada e provavelmente pagará mais barato. Nos sentimos completamente abandonados e mal acolhidos neste hotel. Único destaque positivo para o senhor careca que serve o café da manhã, sempre sorrindo e de bom humor. Sabe conversar e informar quem precisa. De qualquer forma, eu jamais voltaria a este hotel. Nao recomendo, a menos que seja por um tempo muito curto e que vc dê a sorte de não precisar de nada.

We had a nice modern room incl breakfast, location was great and staff were very helpful. Only one negative thing to say is the noice of the other rooms/hotel area. But room rate was very good. We enjoyed our time here and extended our reservation as well. I would definitely come back to Tropea and would book the hotel again.

die Unterkunft war für mich gut, es hat soweit alles gestimmt. Ich werde bestimmt wieder das Hotel buchen, es ist zentral und ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Als ich ankam wurde mir ein Zimmer in den Hinterhof gegeben, aber dann bekam ich (nach Nachfrage) ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick, also sehr kulant.

Solo il personale gentile e disponibile, ma la struttura pessima niente bidet e televisore dell'800 con un solo canale in italiano. colazione da concordare la sera prima x l'orario 🤔🤔🤔 ma una persona in vacanza può sapere a che ora si sveglia? Bah

Excellent location comfortable beds and clean. Bathroom was very outdated and shower did not drain well. The breakfast included was nice and the staff were very friendly. I would come back again

Nel bagno specie la doccia che o trovato un gamitolo di capelli rubinetto che perdeva acqua TV. Che non prendeva canali. Lasciamo perdere.

Consiglio assolutamente questa struttura, la posizione è ottima, il personale cordiale e la pulizia giornaliera è stata assolutamente graditissima.

Simpel room- bed ,tv from 1990 not very charming. But good location. Staff morrning could speak a bit English. Staff evening only Italian.

It was ok nothing great, shower was really weak and not warm (I don’t mind I guess) the AC was not cool but a good location from the beach and a fair price for what you get if you don’t have high expectations. Free breakfast was good.
