Mercure Villa Romanazzi Carducci Bari

Nice modern hotel in lovely garden surroundings. Big swimming pool and plenty of areas to sit and relax. The location of the hotel is right next to the train lines and trains can be heard once out of our room. The area in our opinion is the wrong side of the train station as to get to the main old town is about 30 mins walk , and the amount of graffetti on the train wall was not pleasant on the eye. The hotel is of a good standard and the staff were very helpful

Chambre agréable, isolation de piètre qualité avec le couloir. Petit déjeuner correct. Personnel à l’accueil convenable mais pas exceptionnel. Le parc est très agréable. Mais les rues autour de l’hôtel ne sont pas propres et peu touristiques.

Very friendly staff, especially the breakfast staff and chef. We had one evening meal and this was 100euros for 2 very mediocre adult meals and 2 children meals, one pasta dish was inedible. We tried lunch at the bar and had the lasagne which was just pasta sheets, tomato puree and a few shopped pieces of ham, couldnt eat it as it had no taste so really couldnt recommend the meals at all. We were delighted we could use the spa area which had a hot tub but it sadly stank really badly or urine in the spa area. Pool area looks like it would be lovely when open and the gardens are really lovely to walk around but because of the meals we had we wouldnt return.

Fantastic property, the staff were amazing and very accommodating. Francesco was absolutely a professional and made my family feel very welcome to the hotel.

Hotel itself was alright no complaints.. Area around the hotel and the walk to the train station wasnt that great.. theres a mart nearby.. but the area just seemed a little dodgy and dirty..

The bandwidth of the Wifi is not so high. Events are held in the garden at night.

- Mould in the shower/bathroom - Staff were not very helpful. They only put one big towel /slippers/one water bottle in the room when 2 people were staying, and we asked for more in the first afternoon around 4pm. We had to ask again 2 more times for the towels to finally show up at 9.30am the following morning, right before we checked out… also no towels available by the pool/spa area but lots of mess around that area - Not much breakfast choice apart from cakes. We were told the teabags in the lobby next to the breakfast were at a cost and not included, we had to take the “worse” teabags from hotel. Felt very stingy - Similarly, our hotel card didnt open the gym- we had to ask for a card every time. - Service in general felt very rude and stingy for the price - Whole thing felt very very budget. We paid over 200 euros for a night but it felt more like a 100 euro hotel in terms of service

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The reason I did not give a 5 star review is because the pictures do not represent the hotel. It shows the older red building that might be used for functions with some grounds. That is not the hotel at all. It is a modern building with no real grounds. A bit far from the city center.

We stayed in the apartment annexe.The apartment was as new.No view from the balcony to speak of and a two minute walk across a public car park to the main hotel. However it is a nice hotel and very happy with the staff. Nice dinner in the restaurant. Would stay again

The hotel is good but not well maintained. The area around is dirty and nosy and doesn’t feel safe at night.

Located near the train station and easy walk to the center of town.

The hotel provides a beautiful oasis in Bari. The pool and staff were brilliant!
