Our stay started with a warm greeting and introduction from the owner and it kept getting better. Beautiful view of Mt Etna, amazing rooms that were top notch, and a breakfast that pleased everyone. I honestly would give this place 6 out of 5 stars. We had 5 people staying in my family, and everyone agreed that this was the nicest place we’ve stayed with all around quality. Highly recommend it!

We had an excellent 4‑night stay at the hotel (quadruple room). We were warmly welcomed (in French!) by Alessia, who provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay: how the hotel works, the best places to visit, plus tips & tricks about the region.
The hotel also offered a dedicated online guide with great recommendations for drinks, restaurants, and all nearby amenities.
Breakfast was excellent and very varied, offering both international options and authentic Italian specialties, including delicious coffee.
The view from the hotel is stunning, overlooking Mount Etna — the perfect setting to start the day.
The hotel also provides secure parking with direct access to the entrance, which I highly recommend.
Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a well‑equipped bathroom featuring a multi‑jet/massage shower.
In short, I highly recommend this hotel for its ideal location if you want to explore the east coast of Sicily (15 minutes from Catania, 1 hour from Taormina, 45 minutes from Syracuse, and 1 hour from the northern slope of Mount Etna).

De façon globale, nous avons passé un bon séjour. La propriétaire est adorable, disponible et a l'écoute. Elle parle français ce qui a été pour nous un vrai plus. Le personnel est aussi très gentil. L'endroit est très sympa, avec une vue merveilleuse sur l'Etna. Un centre commercial est juste à côté, ce qui est appréciable pour dépanner. Le parking gratuit est aussi un plus. Merci encore pour tout !
Le seul bémol, ayant la chambre à côté de la cuisine, le matin impossible de se reposer, les bruits de la mise en place du petit déjeuner reveille absolument tout le monde dès 7h30 et étant aussi à côté d'un frigo et des toilettes mise à disposition des clients, on entend les va et vient. Le système de lumières aussi est particulier, j'ai voulu sortir discrètement de la chambre, le spot de l'entrée s'est allumé, impossible de le contrôler, cette fois c'est moi qui ait réveillé tout le monde Ahahha. Pareil pour le personnel d'entretien, sur le toit collé a la chambre, a balayé les feuilles mortes, avec sa cigarette, donc bruit et odeur, nous ont sorti de notre sommeil trop tôt.

The property is in excellent condition. The pool with a diving board can entertain you all day. My kids had a blast. The owner is very nice. There is an Etna tour (ask the owner directly) that picks you up at 8mood and brings you back there. Excellent overall.

Accueil sympathique en français, vue sur l'Etna depuis la piscine ou au petit déjeuner, petit déjeuner bien garni avec service pour les boissons, réfrigérateur commun, eau plate ou pétillante a disposition, chambres recentes et propre, au calme, bons conseils poir les retos a proximité beaucoup, de bons points ! Seul bémol il faut reprendre la voiture pour diner le soir.

Alessia et Otto sont très accueillants, leur maison est superbe, le parc bien arboré, la piscine très agréable. Les petits-déjeuners sont variés et servis dans une salle à manger très bien décorée. Depuis le jardin, on jouit d'une vue imprenable sur l'Etna.
Très proche du centre ville de Catane, de l'Etna, à distance d'1 heure de Syracuse et de Taormina, l'emplacement est idéal pour parcourir la côte est et sud-est de la Sicile.
Je recommande ce logement.

Perfecte accomodatie als uitvalsbasis voor vakantie op Sicilië. Vriendelijke mensen, mooie kamer, prima ligging, fijn zwembad en tuin met uitzicht op de Etna. Wij hebben er genoten.

Nous avions choisi cet endroit au vu des nombreux avis positifs. Nous avons été très déçus. L’établissement, situé à 30 min du centre de Catane et non 10 min comme indiqué, n’est ni un Bed&Breakfast, ni un hôtel. Une grande maison avec une dizaine de chambres, et dans l’entrée, un hall d’accueil façon hôtel ainsi qu’une salle pour le petit déjeuner (qui est d’ailleurs très bon). L’accueil est sympathique mais la maison pas adaptée au nombre de clients qu’elle reçoit. Dés l’arrivée, une vingtaine de sacs poubelle malodorants devant le portail. La chambre pour 3, sans vue (uniquement un vélux) vraiment petite et mansardée, attention à la tête ! Une dizaine de transats en mauvais état autour de la piscine, largement insuffisants vu le nombre de clients (nous étions au moins 25 dans la maison). Un seul frigo collectif surchargé qui ne fait plus de froid depuis longtemps. Une grande terrasse où nombreux sont les fumeurs et un parking privé inexistant. Et l’environnement, soit disant des commerces accessibles à pied, mais à vos risques et périls vu la route très fréquentée qu’il faut traverser. Bref, une réalité bien loin du descriptif et des jolies photos.

B&B fabuleux. Plus proche du 5* que du 3*.
Personnel absolument charmant.
Le lieu est un havre de paix, et absolument magnifique.
En plus de l'italien et de l'anglais, la responsable parle aussi français.
Idéalement situé pour rayonner dans la région (Catane, Taormina, et bien sûr l'Etna).
Supermarché à 50m très pratique.
Ils proposent des excursions et donnent de nombreux conseils (restaurants, laverie...)
J'ai eu un souci avec ma voiture de location, la responsable m'a plus qu'aidée. Elle a passé des coups de fil, fait un email pour moi... adorable.
Les responsables vivent sur place. Pratique en cas de problème.
Un seul conseil pour des vacances réussies : OttoMood B&B !!!

Più un piccolo albergo a conduzione familiare che il classico B&B spartano; ambiente accogliente, personale attento a tutti i singoli dettagli (anche a quelli che possono sembrare scontati); buona colazione; camera spaziosa e rapporto qualità-prezzo assolutamente ottimo.
La posizione è favolosa; posto tranquillo ma a pochissimi chilometri dal centro della città.
Essendo arrivato tardi per il check-in; ho ricevuto un messaggio dal proprietario con codice di accesso alla struttura e chiave già pronta sul banco all'ingresso (disagi praticamente zero).
