Jättebra och mysigt och personligt hotell! Personalen i lobbyn var jättebra och trevliga och rummet var underbart! Det enda var att vissa i frukostpersonalen inte kunde engelska, utan bara italienska, men de försökte verkligen göra sig tydlig med kroppsspråk och Google translator!!

The Palazzo Alexander absolutely sweetened our stay in Lucca. The hotel is quite centrally located, not very big, but very cozy and royally furnished. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was also delicious and parts of it were served fresh at the table. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I had concerns about parking in Lucca and when I phoned the day before arrival they made sure that I could park my car safely and close to the hotel, which, to be fair, cost 25 euros a night, but it was worth it to have a safe and monitored parking space for my car. An extra mention goes to Roberto, who served us so incredibly kindly at the bar and at breakfast and gave us such a nice goodbye. We will gladly come back another time.

Hotel Alexander is a gem of a property, beautifully restored and well-maintained. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Generous American style breakfast. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Lucca.

Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Beautiful lobby area where a delicious breakfast is served. We stayed in the Tosca Room which has a balcony overlooking Lucca and the surrounding hills; very unique for inside the wall. We would love to come back again.

Vi hade en härlig tid på hotellet från första stund. Personalen gjorde allt för att vi skulle trivas och hotellets inredning passade oss perfekt. Bra läge. Bilen fick vi parkera utanför muren men det var inget stort problem. Vi återkommer gärna.

Great stay! The rooms are big with a Tuscan Palazzo feel. Gabriel and his father are really helpful guiding you with restaurants and around the city.
Good breakfast, gentleman serving in the morning is very nice.
It was a lovely stay!

Perfectly charming and friendly, we had a lovely time at this well located and comfortable hotel in Lucca. Very helpful staff. It was very, very hot but our room was just cool enough. Would definitely come back.

A family owned business and it showed! The staff were very courteous, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I would stay there again because of the staff! Breakfast great.
