After a few rainy days in Tokyo, we arrived at this hotel still under grey skies, and with not much hope of seeing Mt. Fuji. Hiowever, on opening the curtains the next morning...Wow!! What a site! The view of Fuji from our room was stunning, magnificent! The room was nice an big, although perhaps a little dated (some USB ports would be nice!), but overall, can't complain! We took advantage of the hotel shuttle bus into town, which is very useful, although could be more frequent than once an hour, and has to be pre-booked during busy hours (early morning etc). Additionally, the final service back from town is 19:45, which means there's not really an opportunity to experience the restaurants in Fujikawaguchiko unless you get a taxi back. But to be honest, I would have happily walked back to the hotel to see that view!

Very good hotel with an incredible view of Mt Fuji. Easily accessible via hotel shuttle from Fujikawaguchi Shinkansen train station for local (cheap and excellent) dining by station. If traveling from Tokyo to Fujikawaguchi, be sure to book Mt Fuji side window seat! Same when booking a room at this hotel: request an upper floor balcony with a view of Mt Fuji.

Amazing view of Mt Fuji during their great breakfast. Frequent shuttle to town and bikes available to ride around the lake. Not a lot to do so a couple of days is plenty.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel, hôtel éloigné de la gare et de ses commerces mais avec une navette gratuite, avec des rotations suffisantes pour s'organiser, très grande chambre normale avec 3 lits, très propre, avec balcon et vue sur le lac, au calme, petit déjeuner exceptionnel très varié il y en a pour tous les gouts : de la soupe miso au pancakes ! Onsen très agréable dont un bain à l'extérieur, nous avons diné qu'un seul soir au restaurant de l'hôtel car il est assez cher, par contre le restaurant Nabeya situé à 200m de l'hôtel est à faire, personnel très accueillant, grande boutique de cadeaux dans le hall, vue exceptionnelle sur le Fuji depuis le dernier étage, et de la salle du PDJ, un petit point faible; la décoration qui date un peu

Beautiful hotel and area. The only thing was the isolation-not walkable to open restaurants in less than 25 minutes. Shuttle runs every hour. Taxi back after 745 pm when the shuttle ends for the night. The buses also work once you get the routine Beautiful views of Mt Fuji. The lake views also pretty Dinner was nice/pricey. Breakfast was also good.

I booked two rooms. One had breakfast included and apparently the other didn’t, however my check- in receipt had both rooms included. They give you a summary paper upon arrival with keys detailing your stay. When we were charged- I told it was their mistake, yet still charged me. In light of this, they should have waived the charge.

Although the exterior and decoration is dated in the 1980’s, this hotel has been treated with respect and love. You cannot beat the location and the tranquility it offers. The service, food, onsen, and facilities are excellent. Breakfast is fantastic. The personal are polite and very helpful. If you are visiting Fuji, this is the best view and the best hotel by far.

We were there for 2 nights. Weather was not so good. We see Fuji mountain from our bed on day two. I was million dollar view. Good location great service. Will come back again

The hotel was great and also had an onsite onsen which was our first, however it was clean and the water was great. There are multiple pools that provide a small range in temperature, including one outside.
Bedrooms were clean and those on the Mount Fuji side did not disappoint.

Great stay for us, a couple with 7m old.
Convenient with the shuttle bus.
We used the onsen daily and the breakfast was great. Also our first time sleeping on tatami mats.
