Kinh nghiệm tuyệt vời, nhân viên siêu thân thiện. Vị trí rất gần Gion và một số điểm đến du lịch. Chắc chắn sẽ trở lại đây nếu tôi ghé thăm Kyoto một lần nữa.

I was a little nervous about this hotel, but it is actually amazing. Great location and just an easy hotel to be in. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles which was actually really nice

Ok so it’s not a full service hotel, if you want that it’s not for you.
Best most comfortable room on my trip. Super clean big and even a washing machine.
Location spot on.
Would definitely return suck good value.

Our family enjoyed our stay at M’s Inn. It was clean and comfortable. The long corridor did take up most of the unit space, but it was big enough for a short stay bigger than any hotel room. We loved the separate toilet and shower. We made good use of the washer. The AC was sufficient and the beds were comfortable. The inn is located in Higashiyama on the east side of the Kamo River, so it’s very quiet at night. The surrounding area is beautiful with many traditional buildings. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the two nearest train stations (the inn is located between two). It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka area. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to Pontocho Alley and the main street on the west side of the river, where it is much busier even at night. Check in process was smooth as there was someone there to support, but do note that there usually isn’t staff on site. They were able to accommodate receiving our luggage ahead of check in, so we’re thankful as that helped a lot. Overall a clean and peaceful stay at M’s Inn. Would recommend if you are looking to stay somewhere quieter but not too far from all the action.

The idea of fully unstaffed/automated hotel is interesting: entry, check-in, check-out all done on our own with no staff present. And that works fine. Where this hotel falls short isn't in this area; it's in other areas. The kitchenette isn't equipped: there were two cups and two small glasses; there isn't much point to having a microwave and a refrigerator if there isn't a bowl, a plate or a plate to use. Unusual for Japan, the hotel allows smoking in a room near the entrance, and, as a result, there is a lingering smell of smoke as you enter the hotel, and even in your room if you are unlucky enough to be in a room on the ground floor. With these problems addressed, this hotel could move from the so-so category to something better.

Bom quarto, grande para os padrões japoneses e com máquina de lavar roupa, o que ajudou muito. Em compensação, o banheiro é separado em dois ambientes, um para banho e um para o vaso. Este último é um cubículo e bem quente.
Hotel tem boa localização, próximo às ruas principais de Gion e também Pontocho.
A limpeza acontece uma vez a cada 3 dias e nao há atendimento na recepção 24h.

Great place, worked well as a home base for our family of 4 to explore Kyoto. Priced very well and clean. Very happy with our stay! Short 10 min walk to surrounding temples and Gion shops with plenty of food options. Would stay again!

Nice little hotel in quiet area between Gion and Higashiyama. Maps did not always give the correct location. Not very close to any transport stations so be prepared to walk 10 minutes to get on a train or bus, but otherwise convenient for the western tourist spots if you don’t mind walking a bit. Washing machine in the room was nice if you can figure out how to use it

Cozy, clean and comfortable for our family. The tatami area was large enough to fit 2 futons if needed. Mini fridge, refrigerator and washer/dryer was a big help during our stay. Convenient location in a charming neighborhood with multiple convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance. We were expecting self check in, but were pleasantly surprised when there was a staff member available when we showed up. She was very helpful and checked us in with ease. Self check out was simple, and we used the luggage storage to spend the remaining hours exploring Kyoto luggage free.

Overall great value. Rooms were large, water pressure strong, beds comfortable. Fairly walkable to many temples. Only issue I had was with staffing / service. The one time I had a question, no one was in so I called the phone. Person on the end of the line hung up on me after I asked a few questions. Knocked off a star for that kind of service. Otherwise, good place to stay.

Our stay was comfortable. The room had everything we needed (except english instructions for the washer/dryer - be prepared to use a translator and some interpretation). The bed was comfortable and the area quiet.
